New Here. If I never had a six pack is it impossible fo rme to get one?
I've heard from severeal sources that having a six pack is all determined by genetics. Is this true? I have a lot of belly fat that I'd like to get rid of to see my six pack, but if I've never had one can I still get one?

The answer is no one really knows specific to you. So much is dependent on training knowledge, nutrition, some genetics. I never had a six pack (because I don't care and think it's a silly pursuit) but I got one on accident when I started doing a ton of kettlebell swings. To start off, make sure you're eating properly, do weighted abdominal exercises, and develop the entire core so you are balanced.

When you guys say that genetics plays a role how so? As in some people just can not cut off fat from their abdominal area or people can't develop defined abdominal muscles?

Little of both... some people will store every last bit of body fat over their abs and nowhere else. Other people once they reveal their abs, some will have more naturally defined abs then others, of course this is something you work on with weight training.

Check these out http://www.lifelineusa.com/products....&productid=129
I've used the dragondoor ones extensively and in my opinion these are virtually identical, but half the cost. You only really need one to get started. For you probably a 16 or 20 kilo.

sixpack
Of course everyone has a sixpack. It is a muscle called rectus abdominis, and every human being has got one. However, on most of us it is hidden from sight by subcubital fat......

You won't always be fat if you have the right diet and workout. If you lose enough fat you'll be able to see your abs.
