How Much Taurine Have You Taken?

I've been taking taurine in 1g doses pre and post WO, and it's one of favorite supplements now. For the price I think it is a great value.

I was thinking of trying out higher doses to see if it is even more effective. Have any of you taken doses in the 2-3g+ range at all? Do you think it is worth using that high of a dosage?

i used to cramp up quite a bit when i played football, it helped me quite a bit... i dunno i still take around 5 grams a day, its damn cheap

I've read that a lot of people supplement with 15g split into 3 x 5g doses. Supposed to be a great volumizer and cramp eradicator.

I used 1g/day to help with mild cramping from running in the heat. Helped a bit, but never thought about going higher.

Did you combine it with creatine? I find that it's very synergistic with creatine.

Tomorrow I'm trying out pure beta-alanine for the first time. So, I hope that the creatine, taurine, and beta-alanine mix well. I don't see why they wouldn't.

if i use it i mix it in with my pre workout shake, usually 3-4 grams
i cant tell that it does much besides prevent cramping...

I have been doing 3 grams pre 3 grams post and 3 grams about an hour before bed.
