if i get caught pissing in public... (serious)
(In America) Someone told me that if you get caught pissing in public, you will be registered as a sex offender for the rest of your life. I knew you could be arrested for public nudity, even if you're peeing behind a bush or in the woods or something, but isn't that a bit ridiculous to be a sex offender? Technically you exposed yourself in public, but cmon. That's ridiculous if I have to piss and I go behind a couple trees in a dark parking lot, and a cop drives by. Getting arrested is bad enough, but being a sex offender for the rest of your life is just wrong.
And no this didn't happen to me. I do piss in the woods quite a bit cause I'm often too lazy to go inside to a bathroom, but I have never gotten caught or arrested.
Can anyone tell me if there's any truth to the sex offender thing? that sucks.....
I might stop peeing all over the place =)
And no, I don't pee on peoples porches or in mailboxes and **** like that, I'm talking about grass and trees here.

I don't think so. I saw an episode of Seinfeld where Jerry got in trouble but that's it. I think it's illegal though

I really really doubt that.
It's just how the body functions, as long as you're just pissing in some trees or what ever and not bothering anyone then I don't see the problem.

I got beaten up when i was younger for doin it on someones car..
Alot worse than a fine id say!
So id try to keep it in the bushes .....

yep its true, happened to a good friend of mine. Now whenever he goes to get a job he has to explain it. Usually he doesnt get the job.

Depends on the state. Some places have a specific ordinance for public urination which is typically a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct.
If they don't, then it will get grouped in with indecent exposure, which is a sexual offense. But you usually need repeated offenses to be placed on the Sex Offenders list.
