Must have Fast Food? Try These.
Ok, we all know there comes a point in time where we do not have access to something healthy for one reason or another.
Our options....fast food *ominous gray clouds float overhead*.
Listen, be smart about it, that is all.
-----------------------------------Taco Bell------------------------------
Let's use Taco Bell as our first example. You can easily create a meal that is:
280 calories, 6g Fat, 1.5 Sat, .5 Trans, 22g Carbs, 9g Fiber, and 34g of protein.
http://www.yum.com/nutrition/results...5&BrandAbbr=TB
And the best part, it will cost about 2-3$. Be sure to order indoors when you get this. As people in the drive-thru will get pissed at you for making such a specialized order, and may mess up your food. Best to take your chances with the people that aren't sweating how fast the food comes out (Indoors). Remember, people at the drive-thru window are being dogged by their manager to produce record-speed times with orders. You usually receive better quality from going inside, anyways.
Anyways, order all of these items as a side: Side of Beans, ounce of Lettuce, Half ounce of Tomato, 2-3 Scoops (sides) of chicken (9g a scoop, 50 calories). And that's it!
Just have them the Beans in first, followed by lettuce, then chicken, then tomato. Viola, a salad! Also, be sure to request all of the ingredients be put into one of their small salad bowls. I used to work at Taco-Bell, and I always had this on my lunch break. It tastes fine (as long as everything is fresh).
---------------------------Burgerking-------------------------------------
Same rules: order indoors, be nice
This one is less complex: http://www.bk.com/#menu=3,1,-1
180 Calories, 4.5g Fat, 1g Saturated, 8g Carbs, 4g Fiber, 30g Protein.
It's the TenderGrill Garden Salad (there is a TenderCrisp, which is unhealthier).
Be sure to get this meal without the "Three-Cheese Blend" and without Salad Dressing.
For optimal health, of course. You can also request extra chicken for more protein, etc...
--------------------------McDonald's-------------------------------------
Same rules: Indoors, Courteous.
http://app.mcdonalds.com/bagamcmeal
Premium Grilled Chicken Sandwich, minus the Bun and Mayo (-290 Calories).
130 Calories, 2g Fat, .5g Saturated, 4g Carbs, 24g Protein
Or:
http://app.mcdonalds.com/bagamcmeal
Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken minus the Cheddar Cheese.
160 Calories, 2.5g Fat, .5 Saturated, 11g Carbs, 3g Fiber, 26g Protein
Obviously, Salad Dressing will change all of these statistics.
I know a lot of people use the "I can only get fast-food now!" excuse in order to pig-the-****-out.
So, now you don't have an excuse. At least 1/3 of these Fast Food giants should be around you when you're making that crucial decision.
Hope this helps.

I'd rather load up on calories from healthy foods and minimize the amount of calories I gain from fast-foods. So, if you're forced to eat out, minimize the damage; once you get home, resume consuming loads of calories.
Call me crazy.
[EDIT] Maybe I should post this puppy in the Lose-Fat section.

As I stated, I already worked there.
They have buttons on their register.
If you really want help, just ask them to add a "Side of Lettuce" that is essentially an ounce.
An ounce of lettuce is how much goes into a "Taco Salad".
[EDIT] Anyways, realized all of those links don't work due to the website containing temporary cookies.

I hope that's your only meal for the day, excluding a drink you come out to:
2750 Calories, 146g Fat, 55g Saturated, 16.5g Trans, 232g Carbohydrates, 15g Fiber, 131g Protein.
Yea, I guess you get 131g of Protein out of that, I hope it's worth it.

Nice thread. May i add, you can get just the grilled chicken patties from mcdonalds for $1. I buy 2, and cook some rice up at home. Rice and chicken made EZ, and very cheap.
Repped.

you dont think so? You can consume larger amounts of food (fast food) and not see the effects of fat gain because of steriods. People that are juiced need more calories and can afford to get more calories without having a negative effect on the physical appearence.

no but they die from the side effect of massive weight gain stressing the heart and other internal organs. And the usual motive for "using" is to gain muscle mass beyond the bodies natural limit. And at a younger age it has profoundly different side effects.
