Bodyweight rows on Smith Machine

Are these good for overall strength? I can do 10 chins/pull ups with good form and could only do about 8-9 of these( legs straight out, hold on to SM with your arms straight, and row until your chest touches the bar) but i dont know if it was because i was tired after a shoulder workout. I read about these in MH. what do you think about them?

If you do pushups in your chest routine, supine rows are an excellent opposing exercise to add to your back workout.

When they become too easy, elevate your feet to make them more difficult.

You can widen your grip too make them more difficult, as well.

Overall I think it is a good exercise to add to almost any back program...and as stated above it has enough varaiation ability to be used effectively for a while.

i do em...... usually super set them with lat pulls or pullovers... (the face pulls being the latter of the superset....)
