just chased some punks breaking into cars (no fresh prince)

I live in really nice apartments (in college, yes parents pay my ****), unfortunately this place is a target for scumbags to break into cars. I've had my car broken into twice in the past year, cops can't do **** when you have your vehicle broken into. So lately, I've had my eye out for sketchy lookin' mofo's.

Just got home about an hour ago (4:30 am). I'm walking my dog in the main grass/yard by the pool, and I see 3 thugs hopping over the gates. I immediately know what they're doing, so I take my dog to my apt and hop in my truck to find those ****s. I drive around, turning off my lights as i turn corners to try and catch them breaking into ****, but I don't see anything. So I exit my complex and drive around the block and come back from a different street, and park in a secluded spot facing the front of my apartments. I sit and wait for a few minutes, watching for those scumbags to jump back over the gates. Then a car comes flying by me, stops, backs up... sees me and then hauls ass towards my complex. They go in the gate ( I guess they knew the code) and sit there inside with their lights on, around the area where those thugs jumped over.

I wait to see what happens ( don't wanna get shot). I see all of them running towards that getaway car from different directions, jumping in while the car screeches off. I wait for them at the apartment's exit, but they took another exit... I hauled ass around the side street and catch them exiting in the back FLYING! I followed em' until they ran a red light... I couldn't get close enough to read the license plate.

Sick of these pieces of ****, thinking about staying up all night tomorrow on my balcony waiting for someone to break into a car. Paintball gun, baseball bat, should be fun...

how'd they see you? you had your lights off right? engine still on? saw outline of you?

i was involved in a similar situation, except i was following a guy on foot after he set off my car alarm. (he left my community parking garage and moved to the street and kept feeling door handles of cars)

I parked in a vacant parking lot across the street... I guess they knew the area real well, because when they saw my car, they immediately threw it in reverse to see if anyone was inside.
