Should they make a new Dirty Harry? Who should be the new Dirty Harry?
Clint Eastwood is too old to play Dirty Harry. So if Hollywood decided to bring back Dirty Harry, who should play him? Its gonna be hard to find someone to step into Clint Eastwood shoes but it is possible since there are so many actors that already played James Bond. So who should it be. I think it can be Christian Bale or Russell Crowe.

I was actually thinking about something related to this: that if they ever made Stephen King's Dark Tower series into a series of movies, then Clint Eastwood would've been perfect as the gunslinger. But now he's too old.
After considerable thought, my choice would be Hugh Jackman. He has the scowl and the character lines on his face, he's an excellent actor, a believable action hero and he's young, but not too young. And he can do a flawless American accent. He could do it.

Crowe can lose weight. Clive Owen....nah. Russell is young enough to play the new Dirty Harry...he has that bad guy edge so it would work. However, Sightseeker also included Mickey Rourke...thats a good one.

I can't find a picture, but did anyone see Jim Carey in Me, Myself and Irene when he looked in the mirror and he looked like Clint Eastwood? He looked just like him. He could play the part if they wanted a look alike.

I think Mark Wahlberg could do it. He's just the right age and scruffiness to play the part. Most of the other actors listed here seem too soft to do the role, as far as I am concerned. You need someone you can make look a bit scruffy if need be and with a bit of a build.
