oat cookies recipe.......

i just got sent this recipe via email...im gona cook up a batch tomorow......


*** Recipe - Oat Cookies ***
By Nicole Bremner, Recipe Consultant

Taken from Muscle Menus Shakes Bars & Smoothies

** Ingredients
1 cup oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup shredded coconut
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 egg whites
? mixed crushed nuts
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 banana, mashed
1 tbsp honey or sugar free maple syrup

** Method
Preheat oven to 180?C. Grease a cookie tray.

Mix all dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Then combine. Form approximately 24 cookies and bake on the tray for 10-15 minutes until slightly browned.

** Information
Makes 24 cookies. Per cookie: 238kcal, 15g protein, 43g carbs, 2g fat, 8g fibre.

with 1 cup oats, 1 scoop whey, 2 egg whites you can`t make 24 cookies ..

thats what i thought...but i guess it depends on how big u make them....the recipe was copy and pasted though so take it up with Nicole Bremner.....

unless ur cookies are like golf balls dont expect to get 24 or so... and 15g of protein in each one of those lil things.. i find that nearly impossible with 1 scoop of whey powder which is about 20-25g of protein at max.. even with all the nuts n whatnot.. not a chance in hell
