Abs symmetry : due to good traininng or genetics?
Some guys have perfect symmetrical abs... whilst others have a not so perfectly lined 6 pack..
so is this due to bad training or just genetics?

Yes, genetics. Doesn't mean you can't develop good abs, but the structure of them will always be the same. Like the other guys said, look at Cutler.
