Question Effective to sprinkle my Micronised Creatine Mono. on my breakfast cereal?

I have searched through the forums and found nothing on this topic.

My breakfast, most mornings, contains a bowl of natural cornflakes or other natural cereal with fruit and whole milk.

Is it effective (in terms of absorption, cost, etc.) to consume my Micronised Creatine Monohydrate sprinkled on my breakfast cereal?

Hi , yes this may be effective

If the creatine is micronised then rather mix with some fruit juice or a sports drink after your meal. This is when your insulin levels are high enough already because you ate complex carbohydrate in the form of flakes . The insulin released from the meal can help shuttle creatine into muscle cells better than if its just sprinkled on food .

If you mix into a concnetrate drink then it should be better abosrbed

I hope this helps

I have read that creatine is absorbed very well early in the morning and that an insulin spike half an hour after creatine consumption is optimal for absorption. Hence my current plan.

not sure about creatine best absorbed in the moring nor insulin spike early in the morning.

Your insulin levels rise whenever you eat carbs ( simple raise it more than complex) but complex lasts langer

The important thing is that ingest creatine within that half an hour after a meal . thats when the insulin levels are probably at there peak to shuttle the beloved creatine into cells for volumisation and to create creatine phosphate
