getting ready for contest?
I'm interested in entering a contest in the near future and would like to know the procedure pre-show. In specific, I am looking for info on Ontario contests. I have checked out a couple of sites, but all they say is the schedual, not how to enter or whatnot. I don't really know how to enter and would like some information in order to prepare for the contest. Thanks.

Go to the cbbf.ca (canadian bodybuilding Assoc website) & look up the link for the Ontario Bodybuilding Federation/ association.
Then send an e-mail or call and ask for more info.

As an Ontario native..
HypeMuslce has a listing of all assoications on their website -- IDFA, CBFF, WBFF, FAP, etc with the links to them if it helps you to compare associations. You can typically email the show's promoters for specifics. Usually you have to sign up, pay the fee via credit card, paypal etc and then they send you information from there. You will also likely have the opportunity to purchase tickets for your friends and family to come out and watch you kick butt lol. They'll let you know the registration night (depending on the association, this is where you'll get your number, weighed, height measured etc....), requirements (tiers/levels, shoes, turns, poses, etc) and all that jazz.
Based on which show you do (there are many in the fall in Ontario) I suggest finding out as much as possible about prepping so that you can practice walking (if applicable), posing and clothing required (posing suits etc). Also, you want to ensure that you meet the requirements (some shows have levels)....HTH
