Too Much Protein?

I am tracking my p/c/f on fitday and I have read that you can have too much protein. If I should follow the guideline of 1 g per lb I should only be taking in 110-112 g. However, If I want to eat 5-6 meals a day and have protein at every meal (and have it satisfy me) I am always going over. I heard it it not good for you to get too much protein and today I was at about 160 g. Ideas on what to do or if it's ok?

A lot of times bodybuilders will eat 2 gr per lb of body weight. Anything more than that will just be a waste.

You can divide your grams evenly for each meal, then you won't go over much (there is protien in a lot of foods, so you will probably go over a little).

You are fine with the 160g of protein. If you are weight training you are probably using it. As long as you've got p/c/f at each meal and are within your caloric requirements you are good to go!

I am weight training 4-5 days a week so I am definitely using it, good to know I'm not getting too much!

Thanks!
