how often do u take a week off? for rest
i was wondering how often are u supposed to take a week off? my brother said every month but im not sure
everytime its time to go to the gym i feel like aw **** it i dont wanna go

every two month. or each time i overtrain. I might do another cycle of HST if this one goes well. then its every two months

I don't take breaks unless I have a vacation or some other good reason. If you work out 3 days a week I don't see the need to take breaks, unless you recover pretty slow.

i normally only train once a week so i get tonnes of rest, but then im not a bodybuilder i purely go for strength not size.

Every 6 weeks I don't take a week off but I take an extra rest day.

The only reason I'm on a rest day today is yesterday morning I did a full back day then went back at night after work and did a full leg day. (Don't worry, lots of calories, protein, carbs, and sleep and working out twice a day is fine)

one before summer starts, and one for christmas. We do deload weeks every month or so though, except we still go heavy on assistance.

everytime i go on vacation for...usually for 2 or 3 weeks i take a break..so i train year round until i go on a vacation..so tahts like..every 6-7 months.

...I didn't even know people took breaks! I might have a couple extra days off every once in a while if life gets in the way, but no, I don't take planned breaks.

Dont take breaks, as for days off ill take one every once in a while, but usually i just do a easy day instead and train forearms or calves

I take one everytime I go on vacation usually, like next week I'm going to Myrtle Beach and I'm taking a week off but keeping up my diet! Otherwise I take it every 60-90 days! I just listen to what my body is feeling like!

It depends, no set time really. I mean, if I'm having good workouts and such, what's the point in resting? Once I get in a slump, or when I can't get fired up for a workout, I'll take about a few days to a week off. Come back ready to go.

I will take off 4 days or so but I don't think I have ever taken a whole week off unless I'm on vacation.
