Should I take a rest day?
This week I worked a "muscle" a day, to see how it feels..
It's been since Monday that i have done chest, for instance.
Ive worked all muscles, finishin with legs today.
Do you think it would make a difference if I just didnt rest? If I didnt take days off?
I kinda feel like going back tomorrow and repeating .....and only taking a break when Ill feel worn down.
What do you think?

if your not taking at least 1 rest day per week, i suggest taking at least 1 day off even if you dont feel tired, or sore because your body needs time to grow, heal up, and recover, otherwise you'l run into an old freind of mine mr.overtrain and hes not nice.

I do feel sore in some places...but who doesnt?
Who here feels like mr. sunshine everyday when they wake up?
If you're training hard, everyday..... only a week and half of rest will give you the energy to get up as if nothing ever happened.
But you're right. I have overtrained in the past, i dont want it to happen again...it ****ing sucks.... you're sick, you can't get up...
Ill take tomorrow off, that's it.
Sunday, im busting chest again like i never have before.

I didnt ask idiots.
Yes I know an answer.
Muscles take 24-48 hours to recover, according to the theory of supercompensation, you should work a muscle once every three days, where the window of opportunity opens, at which time your muscle will be stronger than ever, and if you dont hit it within a week, you will lose strength..
That is one of the answers ive come to learn through studying. But if that's the case, then bodybuilders would not be so huge.
So shut up with the stupid comments, i'm asking from people with experience.
Personal Trainers' job isnt to make people huge. It's to get them in shape. I can do that easy.
I'm not into that. I'm into getting big. Which has nothing to do with any of your basic personal training studies. Everything in bodybuilding goes against the personal trainer's handbook.

When I do the 5 day split like you are doing, I like to take the weekend off (I don't like to I ****ing hate it, but I feel that it's best) because it gives your whole body a chance to recover. I usually only do this split when I feel like I'm getting close to being overtrained though, to give my body a minute to catch up
