Am I the only one who noticed espn frequently pulls the race card?
About bonds:
i somewhat enjoy their morning commentary and a lot of them are like "well, i find it ridiculous that barry is getting all of this heat when giambi is getting absolutely no criticism. its just because barry is black and giambi is white."
then....every single time when that statement is made absolutely no one says something to the point of (or no rebuttal is said at all and everyone seems to agree)....
"well, maybe because giambi is no where near the galaxy that barry is in. by all means man, barry is three runs from crushing one of the greatest records in sports; held by someone who never did roids."
where is the common sense here?
anyone else notice this?

I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard." -Mike Tyson

The #1 problem with you is your low self esteem. That's a problem which, if left to dwell will make you die a very unhappy man. I used to have very low self esteem myself. For about a year I dealt with a lot of stress about a lot of unfortunes I had to deal with. I got braces, developed terrible acne and had begun to get fat. And this was after having been a very attractive, athletic young kid in my youth, so I know what it's like to be on both ends of the spectrum. What you have to do is learn from your problems because life is a journey. You have to say OK well I could style my hair better, fix my teeth, find a new style of clothing that will make me happy and perhaps attract women, and most importantly develop huge muscles which will intimidate even the 6 ft+ tall guys!!

True, but economically we're still a mess. We have to find a way to hold down inflation rate and reduce the deficit. We also need to provide training and jobs for the unemployed as well as protect exsisting American jobs from unfair foreign imports. We have to make America the leader in new technology. At the same time we need to promote economic growth and business expansion and hold the line against federal income taxes and hold down interest rates while promoting opprotunities for small businesses and controlling mergers and corporate takeovers.

Exploitation of the poor has been going on since well, the dawn of time. However does that mean it's fine to just let it keep happening and chock it up to human nature? Slavery was abolished (eventually) because somewhere along the line it became morally unacceptable to treat people as work animals. But that **** still goes on today. Millions of people work in sweatshops and the like at conditions that aren't too unlike slavery.
Economically it makes sense to outsource to where labour is the cheapest but in reality that means forcing masses of people to work for barely enough to survive, for the benefit of the their already rich bosses. Wealth in the third world does not somehow magically sprinkle down to the lower class and better their lives, although globalization as a whole does help the most amount of people in the shortest amount of time.
