I have thought my family is trying to make me fat.
Last night, my dad got kinda riled up when I wouldn't eat any chips with chili con queso. I believe he told me six times to eat some...he calmed down when my brother started asking me why certain food is bad for you

Some people (including your closest friends and family) don't want to see you lose weight. And they will do everything they can to stop you in the most subtle ways.
Ironically, if they were to put that much effort into getting off their asses and making their own gains, they could do it too.
I've put up with a LOT of this so far. Use their negative energy as fuel. It works.

if your not aware of your own lifestyle, then its basically "go with the flow" and you have no identity.

You either stand for something or fall for everything. This is a universal application as well.

This is true.
Although I think in most cases i don't think it's intentional. It little things like how certain people always want to get appetiziers and/or desserts at meals. Or if you have a friend who wants to go to healthy places you eat healthier by association.

If you are eating clean, it makes them more aware of the junk they are eating and they feel guilty, so they try to get you to eat junk too.
Try breastfeeding ini front of women who bottle-fed their own babies, and you'll get an earfull!

remember people are always in their comfort area. Once they find themselves in there, they'll never change. People, say to me, hey lets have a drink, or eat this, instead of telling them "no i dont drink, or something else", I usually tell them, its not part of my lifestyle, and i'm cool with alternative lifestyles. I think its trips people out.

i remember the first week of trying to lose weight properly my friend made me eat half a 12 inch pizza and i felt like crap afterwards. it didn't happen again after that. the consequences of eating the pizza or whatever far outweigh if your friends will think you're an obsessed tool

Oh man, that would be great. I'd love to see the look on their faces when you say "Hey, I'm cool with your alternative lifestyle, but please don't push it on me!" hahahaha
