Ergopharm I-Pro Raspberry lemonade WPI
I bought a tub of this stuff to try out. I'm sure it's a high quality WPI judging by Ergopharms reputation. It's a few dollars more than syntrax nectar where i got it from. The tub is a slender cylinder and i like how it was filled right to the top with powder.
I was expecting something like a syntrax nectar or molecular nutrition whey fruity taste, but it fell short. It tastes like it could be very good, but it's bland, and believe it or not tastes like wax. It tastes exactly like wax. Like if you were to smell a really nice smelling candle, and then eat it, and have it tastes like a duller/blander version of what you were smelling, with wax.
Now this wax flavour comes mostly in the aftertaste, but it is very bland and dull at first. I had to add a big scoop of dextrose and a scoop of swole V2 to make it more pallatable.
Definatly not near as good tasting as nectar or whey fruity, but i believe the protein i good quality. Also assuming that nectar has good quality protein, i think i would purchase nectar instead next time. It tastes better and is a few dollars cheaper.
However if the taste were better and it was the same price as Nectar i would definatly get the ergopharm due to the reputation of pat's company.
