Thieves! F-*#@! those bastards!
My families 2 racing bikes and golf clubs were stolen from our garage. (Total $= 2500$ ) I feel so violated. They took it from a locked garage during the night. In the past, My Deck has been stolen out of my car. We have all had our share of stuff jacked. What can be done? Cops don't give a flying F-ck
Is there any "Low-jack" GPS becons for personal expensive items? I'd love to catch the bastards and beat the Pis* out of them.
What stuff have you had stolen? what did you do?

If you or your parents own their home, i'm sure they have Homeowners insurance, which will cover all items stolen from the house or from the car. if you're renters and don't have renters insurance, I suggest you look into that as well..it will cover the items too. but check your deductable before filing a claim, it might be higher than the amount of things that were stolen..Sorry to hear about that too man..I haet when people take what dont belong to them..

Call the cops, file a report. There can't be that many of those expensive bicycles around your area.

Good luck. My freind got his car stolen in Queens NYC. Apparently the guy who stole it is using it and getting parking tickets with it. NY's finest can ticket the car but cannot find the car. The tickets are going unpaid to my friend who then has to go to the precinct and tell them that the car was stolen to get them dismissed.

There is a St.Louis Cardinal asst. coach named Jose Oquendo (back before he made it in the majors as a second baseman)who went to my HS. He was about 4 years older than me, but his little brother, Philip took my walkman out of my bag when I wasn't paying attention. Someone told me he did it, and also told me where he lived. I went to his house expecting to fight...his mother opened the door, apologized to me, made Philip give me back my walkman, apologize and invited me in for dinner.
Another time I left my bike unattended in front of a McDonalds in Brooklyn. The chain was cut, and the bike was gone. I took my other bike around the neighborhood looking but it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

HER: Yeah, I'm pulling on the cat's tail while he's trying to get away, what did you think I meant?
ME: I dunno. I pictured you naked from the waist down, with your legs up in the air, trying to pleasure yourself with the business end of an aluminum bat.
HER: Idiot.
ME: Ya think?

I had a car that I used to ride around and spent thousands of dollars on. Eventually I stopped driving it but kept it parked in one parking lot over from mine (when I rented) and could see it from my bedroom window. At some point, someone broke into the car (84 Cutlass is probably the easiest car to break into) and some small time crook tried to jam the ignition with something, probably just got done watching Gone In 60 Seconds, and stole the stereo. I didn't even know. I just happened to go out there one day to start the car as I did every so often and noticed the stereo sitting on the seat. The dumbass broke into my car and ****ed up all the wiring and gave it back! At least if you were going to go thru all the trouble, keep the damn thing. It was worthless after that to me too!
I didn't call the cops, cuz when you need them, they don't do **** for you. I figured if I ever caught them, I'd give them back the stereo by shoving it up his ass and calling it even.

that sucks. i had $2k+ worth of car stereo stuff stolen last year on New Years Eve. it sucked, and the cops didn't do anything about it. i don't think there's anything worse than having something stolen from you. i felt violated because someone had been in my car that i didn't know.....

Makes you want to load up a car. Park it in the open and wait in the bushes with a tazer gun and a cattle prod.....

not a bad idea.....i was raised in a pretty upscale neighbourhood.....when i moved out on my own at first all i could afford was a house in semi "bad area".....two months after moving in i got a rottweiler (not just for security, but because i like them)......needless to say no strangers ever came near my house.....while a few other houses on my street were broken into....im not saying it was just because i had a dog, but it does give you a good sense of security, even moreso than any alarm system
