People who have been complaining of an upset stomach here is something you can try!
DISCLAIMER: There has been several threads lately about upset stomachs. I wanted to share what I found recently that has helped me. This is not spam, I don't sell anything and I don't care where you get your supps. I just want to share what helped me and maybe helps some others!
I have found something that has worked VERY well for me. I am on a bulking cycle right now, using protein, Trenabol, 1AD, and starting today or the next on ONE+. I also take vitamins, EFA's, Flax, joint formulas, and caffeine. That said, I was having awful gas, bloating and upset stomach every night and into the following morning. It was AWFUL!
Well I was doing some research and came across a couple products made by a few companies that seemed promising. I started using the one and it has all but alleviated the whole thing.
I am using a NOW product called Super Enzymes. Twinlab had some products and there is certainly many others who make similar stuff. Here is what makes up the product:
Betaine HCL--200mg
Pancreatin--200mg supplying amylase, protease, and lipase
Papain--50mg
Celluase--10mg
Ox Bile Extract--100mg
Pepsin Enzymes--50mg
Bromelain--50mg
Papaya Powder--45mg
Bromelain from a different source--45mg
My gas is gone, my stomach feels great and I am certainly running more optimally in my ability to digest (and probably assimilate) nutrients and food.
It cost me $8 bucks for 90 tabs and I take 1 or 2 a day that's it. More than worth it!
Hope this helps someone out there.
Peace,
Jake

The bottle says take 1 tab with each meal. I would try taking it with your creatine or 15 min before and see if it helps. Its worth a shot!

Its a general health supplement and not a sports/bodybuilding supp. I found it at my local health food center.

Windwords-my girl complains about a stomach ache about once every 3-4 days. From your personal experience, how often were you experiencing these, and do you think it's worth a shot. Lately i've been thinking it may be soemthing more serious, since she complains about stomach aches 2-3 times a week, but it's always after a meal, so i dunno what the deal is...recommend her a dosage as well, she's about 5'7" and 115 lbs.
Disclaimer: yes i'm gonna do my research on this product, and read up on it, but i'd like some PERSONAL experience user feedback, i really don't like to go by what it says on the side of a bottle.

blaze, im not tryin to flame by any means. but your girl is very thin, 5'7 115 is extremely thin. do u think her stomach pains can be attributed to not eating? or lack of fiber in a diet is also a common complaint in thin woman which can cause intestinal pain.

naw she doesn't have much fat, she's on the thin side but not terribly thin, she models so she has to stay that way...but shes extremly fit, great muscularity, so she doesn't gain much fat....during my bulking phases we eat fast food every single day....she just doesn't gain any fat, lol. =)
good call on the fiber though, i will have to look into that.

yah my girl, had very sharp pain in her lower stomach area, it went on and off for like a few months and she was constipated. anyways the doctor told her to consume more solube fiber, and this pretty much fixed the issue. but if pain persists she should see a doc.

Digestive enzymes are essential in my opinion. I just bought a bottle and it has made all the difference in my digestion of whey protein. Im on a cutting diet, and even the leafy greens Im eating cant makeup for the fact that Im just lacking in the proper nutrients to break down all the stuff.
There's also a good chance that the carbs in milk are wasted if you dont have enough enzymes to use them efficiently. As well, lipase, which breaks down fat, must be present otherwise ifat will be mor elikely stored rqather than used for energy
With all the processed foods in this world, and even healthy foods like vegetables that arent prepared fresh anymore, its almost as essential as protein powder to add to your diet...

stomach
good post man ive been dying lately from killer rotgut. I was using the isopure which is a pure whey isolate, which is good because of my lactose problem but it is expensive as hell. I took a look at gnc they have a product aswell you might want to take a look at. gnc is good for the two for one deal with the 20% off.

ummmmm, correct me if i am wrong, but taking enzymes in a pill is USELESS! they are denatured and made useless byt the acidic conditions of the stomach (pH 2 acidity due to hydrogencarbonate ions HCO3-). so why bother taking enzymes> they will just be rendered useless as they are digested.

I have heard something similar.
Although, I do hear that there is a product that bypasses this.
Please, someone school me.
Thanks.

Does she have a stomach ache after eating something that contains milk or milk products? If so she may be lactose intolerant. The best product for lactose intolerant individuals would be a lactose enzyme such as the one found in Lactaid. This enzyme digests the milk sugar making it easy for anyone to digest.

this seems like the logical solution for people having problems with whey, i use to be a all real food type of guy, but i have fell in love with whey post workout and in the morning, however the gas stinks, literally. i am gonna go out and purchase some lactase enzymes in the near future, this should be cheaper than buying an all isolate whey protein (isopure or whatever that expensive **** is called ( i use optimum whey). Is there anybody out there that uses lactase enzymes with whey and have had good results

yeah I am lactose intolerant and ive found that alphalfa and a fiber supplement helps with that problem and ive found that they work better than the digestive enzymes. but if your not using an isolate the digestive enzymes are an asset its counfusing but you need to find what works best for you. I found a few good enzymes that included lactase with other good things like acidophilus and such. once I got my diet strict such as no dairy and lots of fibrous veggies I found that I handled the protein supps and dairy with less frequency allot better ie protein after a workout and in he morning (when there is no time to cook)

yeah the enzymes have a special lining so they reach the intestine.
