First mistake made in 194 lbs of weight loss? Lesson learned!!
I made a huge 6 lb mistake this week. To make a long story short I gave a few hundred dollars to sister last week. I only shop for 2 weeks worth of food at a time. Well the four hundred I sent to my sister wiped out my checking account and I do not have a mac for my savings and its in a separate bank. Rather than do a cash tranfer i thought I could make it until today. Big mistake!!!!!! I ran out of Whey protein, Lipo 6( wasnt a problem since I was purging this week), multi vitamins, and most important food. It started on Monday I saw I had enough protien maybe to last until Weds but it only lasted until tues morning, the multi vitamins died on Tues morning along with the food. Of course I stopped lifting this week and will resume on Friday.
Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life(as far as nutrition was concerned). I was so hungry it was crazy!!! From Saturday until today when I arrived at work I lost 6 pounds. Alot of it came from my gut but I know the muscle took a hit!!!! Today I went out to the Mac and the first thing I did was grab a 4 0z bag of unsalted peanuts on the way to work and detroyed them. While I was at the vitamin shoppe I picked up a Supreme protien bar and nailed it on the way to work. Im about to get some dinner now and I feel pretty good now but this will never happen again. My waist and stomach are smaller but its not worth the mental and physical pain.The lesson I have learned is
!. After 27 months of proper nitrition and training my body is a machine and the food, vitamins, protien and BCAAs I take are a must. I am never hungry I just eat because I know its time.
2. In my younger days of no exercise and stupidity I went 60 days straight without food and was fine. Now 2 days is a complete nightmare.
3. The biggest thing is anyone who reads this please dont ever consider a fast over 24 hours, It can be pretty painful on your mind and body!!!!! This was not something I meant to do and I will never be in this situation again. ( I hope)
The bottom line is I am 6 pounds lighter and my head is just getting right because that crap was depressing. I completed a lifting cycle on Sunday so Monday and Tuesday were days off for lifting. I took weds and today off and only did cardio since monday. I figured I did not have my fuel for the rebuilding process so lifting was out. Im actually more defined up top and my gutt got smaller. I know Ill be fine come Friday when I pump some Iron but I swear I wont let this happen again It really was a tough 4 four days.
