Do You Eat Fruit?
I believe that natural eating habits are the best. I try to eat as natural as possible (organic, too, when I can afford it). I eat a lot of natural chicken and fresh veggies and fruits. I usually have fruit in my breakfast shake and more fruit in my post-workout shake, then I'll have maybe one more serving of fruit with another meal at some point during the day.
I know some people are opposed to fruit (which is silly, IMO, but hey, whatever works for you), but I'm wondering those who DO eat fruit, how many servings and how much fruit do you eat per day?

majority of the time, I get 1-4 servings of fruit per day. I consider fresh fruit in/on something as 1 serving, but a large orange/apple or half a pineapple/cantaloupe/grapefruit as 2 servings.
Stuff like peaches and bananas I just count as 1 serving sometimes, 2 servings at other times.

I usually only get 1-2 servings in a day. Generally, it put that in my pre/post w/o shake.

Usually I only fit in 1 fruit per day but I wouldn't be opposed to getting more. Sometimes Ill have banana in my breakfast oatmeal, sometimes I get it in my post workout shake.

Good to see that there are other bodybuilders who aren't suffering from the Fear of Fruit Syndrome!
I'm very old-school (very basic in lifting and nutrition; I have a very "back-to-the-basics" philosophy) and pretty much just do my own thing, and with today's ever-changing world of bodybuilding theories, I just wasn't exactly sure what the "fad" was these days regarding fruit consumption.
Fruit is a very natural food and is chock full o' vitamins and nutrient-dense. Never quite understood the logic and reasoning behind "avoid fruits at all costs."
Here's a typical day for me, fruit-wise:
1/2 mango in the morning
small banana in my shake
small banana (post-w/o)
honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes (totaling 1 cup) with lunch
I tend to limit my carb intake at night, so I usually eat all my fruit servings in the morning/afternoon.
Thank you all for your feedback and replies!

I'm very much the same. If you like like to cook, they you like fresh fruit & veges! Processed food is full of extra sugar and transfats which I dont need. Besides fresh food tastes better.

This time of year, a half a melon, a banana & a half an avocado (yes, an avocado is technically a fruit).

what is the idea behind fruit being some how bad by the way? i really love to eat fruit and it helps with the "sweet tooth" most of the times. A peach and a banana and some grapes or a pint of ice cream..
Peaches, Bananas, Grapes, Blue Berries, Strawberries are all currently stocked up in my fridge. Go antioxidents

I'm not as high on protein % of macros as most are. Needless to say I eat more carbs than anything, but I too want natural simple eating solutions, so I eat like 7-8 servings a day or so.
An example...
-breakfast throw some fresh sliced peach into my oats or berries of some kind and a slice of Avocado
-pwo banana, golden raisins (also eat other stuff)
-afternoon snack, apple goes w/lean turkey sandwich and grapes
-Some kind of fruit w/ dinner and sometimes a little later as an evening snack
And when I want to I put fresh pineapple or sliced peach into cottage cheese before bed.
