Meat and Potatoes Workout
Hey guys, I've been out of action for quite a while, due to a busy work schedule and whatnot so I'm trying to get back into shape, since I'm working on being a personal trainer and I need to look like one ya know? I'm still young, only 19 so what I'm doing now, is trying to regain my strength while cutting down my fat. As such, I'm going with the following workout schedule, lemme know any comments/suggestions you may have.
Day 1 and 5:
Bench: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Deadlift: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Squat Variations: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Crunch: 3x25
Day 3:
Bicep Curls: 1x12,3x6-8
21's: 1 set
French Press: 1x12, 3x6-8
Lat Raise: 3x12
Bent Row: 1x12, 3x6-8
On the off days, I work aerobics, and do Hindu Wrestler Exercises (Hindu Pushups, Dands, and Back Bridges)
Diet-wise I have cut out sugars and fried foods and am mainly just concentrating on eating good balances of protein, carbs, and healthy fats. 5 meals split over 3 hours or so. Any suggestions would be mch appreciated.
