Meat and Potatoes Workout

Hey guys, I've been out of action for quite a while, due to a busy work schedule and whatnot so I'm trying to get back into shape, since I'm working on being a personal trainer and I need to look like one ya know? I'm still young, only 19 so what I'm doing now, is trying to regain my strength while cutting down my fat. As such, I'm going with the following workout schedule, lemme know any comments/suggestions you may have.

Day 1 and 5:
Bench: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Deadlift: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Squat Variations: 1x12(warm-up), 2x6-8, 1x3-4
Crunch: 3x25

Day 3:
Bicep Curls: 1x12,3x6-8
21's: 1 set
French Press: 1x12, 3x6-8
Lat Raise: 3x12
Bent Row: 1x12, 3x6-8

On the off days, I work aerobics, and do Hindu Wrestler Exercises (Hindu Pushups, Dands, and Back Bridges)

Diet-wise I have cut out sugars and fried foods and am mainly just concentrating on eating good balances of protein, carbs, and healthy fats. 5 meals split over 3 hours or so. Any suggestions would be mch appreciated.

I really like these basic routines. I'm going to be starting a push/pull/leg routine on Monday. I don't really like benching, squatting and deadlifting all in the same day.

This is what I am going to try for the next 12 weeks. I have no direct arm work but I;m going to experiment and see what happens. All exercises are done 5x5 based around the big 3 trying to add weight each workout. Workout days Mon/Wed/Fri, rest days Tu/Th/Sat/Sun off.

Day 1 (Pull)

Deadlift
BB Row
Chins

Day 2 (Push)

Incline Bench
Military Press
Flat DB Press

Day 3 (Legs)

Squats
Leg Curl
Calves
Abs

3. Weighted Dips

FRIDAY [legs]

1. Squat
2. Calf Raise

daninthemix I did a push/pull/leg routine back in the Spring and this was my exact routine, same order, same exercises..weird lol
