Should I feel down on myself?
Since today was Thanksgiving, I went to visit my mom and dad to celebrate the holiday. My mom cooked a nice Thanksgiving meal for all of us (Turkey and Ham from Honey Baked Ham, green beans, baked beans, rolls, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, sweet potato casserole, pecan pie). I really enjoyed the meal she cooked since I don't get to eat her cooking like I use to but afterwards I feel quilty from eating all I ate. I've been trying to eat clean and put on muscle and I only weigh 135 lbs and I'm 6' 1" but I feel down on myself for indulging especially the desserts. Do you guys think I should lighten up a little on myself?

Don't worry about it, it's GOOD for you.
You want to put on weight? This is the best day of the year for that!!!
Not only did you eat a lot, but you had a good portion of turkey which is great.
Besides, even if you were trying to LOSE weight, one meal isn't going to make any difference.
My suggestion: Go back for seconds

When you start feeling guilty about splurging a tad on Thanksgiving is when you need step back and look at the big picture.
Sure, we're all focused on making ourselves look the best we can, but this is life, man. Eat on Thanksgiving. Your Thanksgiving meal is 0.05% of your intake for the year. It will not make one bit of difference. Thank mom for slaving in the kitchen and make her happy by eating as much as you can.

Do not be hard on yourself. One meal like that even once a month will not make a difference. Besides eating some sweets or high GI foods once in a while keeps your system from building up insulin resistance. Even most pros have a cheat day once in a while. It helps keep a person from going crazy over sugar cravings. Think of it as a reward for all the hard work and determination you have done.

Anyone notice this boy is 6'1" 135lbs? He should be eatin the whole damn pumpkin pie! Don't feel bad man. To gain you have to eat and if you can't eat Mom's cooking on Thanksgiving, then you're missing out.

DUDE thanksgiving is the perfect holiday if you wnna bulk. Also it's jsut one day in the year not a huge deal. I personally was at the dinner table and eating for 2 and a half hours today my family was looking at me like I was insane.

My sentiments exactly. I am going to be a little harsh here but your kidding right? Your 135 and feel guilty about eating! You should be eating like thanksgiving EVERY day if your 6'1" and 135..
