does your personality have to do anything with TEST levels?
lets say u are a the dont give a ****, mean, cocky sob, does that mean u have high levels of testosterone?
or vice versa u are the nice, caring, loving person who's timid and reserved, does that mean u have low testosterone levels?
or the intellectual, deep thinker, kinda person..
or the emotional type person
or the rugged hard edged person
or the pretty boy type
basically does personality / the way a person is have to do anything with testosterone levels?
maybe some guys are more manly then others and others are more feminine, so im guessing it does?

high levels of testosterone produces the feeling of well being. Thats part of why you feel euphoric after a good workout. The sun seems to shine brighter

usualy in most cases what you are saying doesnt have an effect with test levels. i know alot of reserved people, quiet people who have very high test levels. the only thing that your talking about that has some studies about test levls is in some cases people who commit crimes or naturaly are criminals usualy will have higher test levels. im not sure how there directly related but its just something i picked up in criminal justice class

being a dick doesn't mean you have high test...i'd bet its more often the opposite you have low test feel bad about yourself and have to act like a jerk to feel better.....all of my chemically assisted friends are the nicest guys ever when they are on cycle

I'm sure testosterone has some effect on the personality of a person, but there are also dozens of other hormones and chemicals in the brain and body that can also affect you. For example, serotonin is believed to be related to anger and aggression. I saw this documentary where some scientists studied the brains of a pack of monkeys, and found that the leaders of the pack tended to have more serotonin. As far as I know though, testosterone tends to be seen as more of a hormone that affects more physical characterstics. A man with feminine features may very well have low testosterone levels and/or increased estrogen levels.
In short, testosterone may have an effect on personality and character, but there are many other hormones and chemicals that help shape who you are. Of course though, it ispretty much accepted that testosterone will affect aggressiveness. As I said though, from what I have read, testosterone doesn't really affect as much how you feel about yourself, or induce euphoria, but instead affects more the physical sexual characteristics.
And about feeling better after a workout, I believe that is much less testosterone, but more the release and activation of other chemicals such as dopamine receptors, which play a role in motivation and pleasure.

I doubt there's a direct correlation. If you're an aggressive, cocky, overarrogant person, than in my book you're just a ***got. Opposite for vice-versa. I'd imagine my test levels are pretty high, and in real life I'm a nice/easy-going person.
Just sayin...

i dont know if any of you watch "braniac" but there was a.... "study" about test lvls... basicly they got a really skinny wimpy guy and really big badass guy, and they tested them for their test lvls. they skinny guy had low scores and the badass guy had high scores obviously. they made the skinny guy act badass ( figthing classes and such) and the badass wimpy (wearing tutus and stuff...) anyways, they tested them again, and their test lvls rose a lot....

there's a correlation between test. and aggression. however there are other factors that come into play such as the prefrontal cortex, serotonin levels, environmental factors etc!!! i really wouldnt say test. has much to do with personality.. this is the whole nature vs nuture thing!!!!

Yes its the other way around.
Testosterone is a horomone of aggression. Which may explain why people who lift tend to be more aggresive. That and that they are alot bigger then anyone else. And can be agressive to anyone they want

I think it's all mixed up. But taking AAS can change your personality sometimes people will be much easier or they will be more tense/get mad quicker. But, AAS affects more than just testosterone levels.

Those with low testosterone often lack confidence. Therefore these guys may come off as the shy/timid/spineless type.
High testosterone is often the other way around. But that doesnt mean assh0les have high testosterone. That just means that assh0les are assh0les.

Higher your test, the more aggressive?
What a load of immature teenage bull****.
Its a lack of discipline. I lose my temper or 'get aggressve' someone might be hurt, Im not bragging, I will cause damage. Not ony that but me getting angry and losing discipline affects my training and recovery, because my coach refuses to have undisciplined athletes.
and Im sure my test is higher then most.

Interesting topic, I think it really depends, on the person.
I personly am naturally a pretty quite person, and love to work, and lift heavy. But I'm not at all angry all the time if ever, and would like to think of myself as a pretty honorable, nice guy. Although the 2 times in my life I have ever been truly mad, it was a scary thing.
And I'd say my test levels are prob pretty high although I've never had them tested.

I don't think this is immature teen bullsh*t- and you act as if you're not a teen (one of the youngest on the forum). Testosterone has effect on aggression, sex drive and much that drives a man's instincts. The more testosterone a person has, the more aggressive they will TEND (keyword, TEND) to be. This doesn't mean that someone with high testosterone levels can't be passive or calm. Perhaps you have a high level of self control and composure that eliminates the aggression. Also, remember that aggression doesn't have to be an out of control rampage- it can make the person more edgy, more confident, more persistent, more direct.
EDIT: Notice the supposed effect that higher estrogen has on women (PMS) and you say that male hormone levels can't affect male behavior? What a crock.

Ahem ahem, if I may chime in...
Most male psychopaths have an extra X chromosome, so their genetic makeup is XXY. This leads them to be overly aggressive and have violent tendencies. This is why you tend to not have as many female rapists or female psychopaths(documented), which is also proven in studies and well known in life.

lol i think that test level somewhat have to do with aggression. I remember when i first starting training, about half a year through when i started seeing some decent gains. Whenever i would get angry, my friends and school would also say something like. "Time to get off the roids" or " look at jerry hes roid raging again" lol meanwhile ive never even seen steroids before. Also sometimes little things would set me off like not being able to find something.........this is a self control thing, but still test levels im sure have had effect on this.
