Stretch Marks!
Sorry ahead of time I had no idea where to put this post into!
Anyone else get stretch marks along the head of there bicept towards the armpit and below the armpit where your upper back goes like a V?
Man I think they are ugly, any advice on how to rid of them over time?

We have sent bb.com some of our new product Java Lather, hopefully they'll pick it up for sale here soon. It is a soap designed specifically to help with scars and stretch marks. Initial feedback has been very pleasing.
These are the ingredients:
Goat's milk, shea butter, olive oil, 100% Arabica Coffee, Sesamin, Cissus Quadrangularis, Latte, Honey, and Almond Fragrance.

That's really interesting AB. I'll keep my eye out for it.
Stretch marks are pretty much scar tissue. while there are formulas to help lessen the color and pronounced look of stretch marks, they never fully go away.
however, using a product like cocoa butter or java leather before hand *might* prevent them from getting bigger.

Yep, there are some similarities between stretch marks and scar tissue.I have some piercing scars I'll be trying it on as well. We chose shea butter over cocoa butter, I haven't heard any reports of irritation so far.

It's retailing for $4.50 a bar right now, (lasting an average of 3ish weeks, depending on how much you use, of course). I suspect it will be similar if bb.com does indeed pick it up. It also doubles (or triples) as a body cleanser and gentle exfoliator (from the coffee granules)

exfoliate, regularly, for the rest of your life.
It'll keep your skin tight and supple.

That sounds awesome AB! I'll have to check that product out sometime.
And also, tanning really helps. I have a few "war scars" under my arms and I'm pretty tan right now so you can hardly see them. Unless of course your downright scoping out my arm pit.

Is the product mainly for post-stretch mark treatment, or is it mainly effective in preventing them?

AB - do you sell the bars by a case?
I'd be interested in buying it by the dozen or so, rather than individual bars.
I use an exfoliating glove once every 3-4days and Irish Springs soap with exfoliating beads.... but something more natural than Irish Springs is better

That's what I do. Tan and they are hardly visible.

We have a few testers logging this for us over at AM, and some others who have given their feedback but since it is not sold here on bb.comyet, I don't think there are any reviews that I know of.
We have a PAL rep with a badass scar testing this out for us, and Outside Backer's wife is also, they are giving pic updates.

Really hard to say, since each person's scars are different. You should definitely start seeing improvements by the end of the bar, by the first few washes your skin should start feeling supple.
This is at 2 weeks in:

It is designed to help those who have existing scars/stretch marks, but also for preventative purposes, and treating dry/sun damaged skin, so it should also be helpful for those who love to tan naturally. It is moisturising and gentle enough to use, as an alternative to your normal body cleanser, so yes, both.

We are working on a more efficient way of production at the moment, as well as the possibility of making bigger bars, currently they are only available in single packs. So that is definitely a possibility, should the demand be there.

and trust me, its wonderful! Dont be fooled by the name, its not just coffee sented, its an Olfactory Orgasm is what it is...
Its such great stuff and for it to have so many fats in it, it leaves the skin very smooth but clean, not sticky or oily. Very good stuff!
