ZMA= Sleep walking?

ok so i never sleept walked before and i started taking zma to help me sleep like a week ago. Since then my mom has said that i have been walking into her room at night like at 3am crying for like 2 min then walking back into my room and locking my door. Last night i guess i went into her room and starting yelling at her that there going to chop off my toes? i didnt believe her at first but she said the dog was out side my room and when i went to sleep i put the dog in his cage in my room so how did he get out? i guess i let him out when i was sleep walking? has anyone known zma to cause sleep walking haha cause my mom is locking her door now when she goes to sleep.

One of my grandfathers brothers died while sleep walking. He lived in a village and his house was kinda open and he just walked out and fell into a well.(true story)
