Is there a difference between cooked/microwaved oats and raw oats?

im a little confused. ive been filling my measurer everyday with a cup of oats, throw some water in them and them microwave them and they usually turn out to be around 2 cups after cooked. the nutritional info says its like 300 calories in a cup of dry oats, but what about after prepared?
