Early morning shake..
if i wake up 6.30, and wanna work out at 7am. what should i eat?
Im 163LBS, 5"10, tryin to bulk..
I have these food available:
oats,whey,egg white powder,fruits, basically anything.
what should i eat?

Since you're just waking up, and only have 30mins before your workout... You can't really have much, as you'll get sick.
I say a small Protein shake with some dextrose to get you going.

yeah i was thinking a heavy shake might be bad.. im thinking more like 3-4 bananas and egg white protein.

*edit* your body is starved for carbs and protein... carbs right after you wakeup is a good time, and you burn them off during the workout.

anyways, fructose is not optimum for pre-workout shake.

fructose is not optimum for post-workout, but pre-workout i don't see what would be wrong with it...

i would say fructose is not optimum in terms of fast acting/burning carbs for preworkout energy... not at least when you have malto/dextrose.

i was reading something on here about how 2 bananas are enough to fuel a 2 hour workout alone..
nonetheless, both will work...theyre both carbs, you need carbs when you get up
