Terribly dissapointed
Well, I'm dissapointed AND happy I suppose. On one hand, I've been avoiding the scale bc I was scared of being dissapointed. I took a week off from working out while I was on vacation (no gym access). I've had comments that I'm looking a little bigger from family and my gf lately. The scale though... last time I checked which was a couple months ago I had gained 10 lbs from when I started 4 months ago. When I checked this morning it had gone down to where I supposedly only gained 1.5 lbs?! Possible innacurate scale? I couldn't have lost any fat or anything, not that much at least, b/c I started out extremely skinny/underweight. Well, I still am but I'm working on it. What do you guys think? Oh I've been on rippetoes btw.

Maybe when you stepped on the scale the first time you were wearing any type of clothes? [Besides shorts] shoes? anything that would make you heavier?

I was tihnking about that, I just can't remember... Either way, I must have gotten bigger b/c my gains have gone up. You cant get stronger while getting smaller can you?

While on vacation you probably wasn't eating enough or right so what you lost was probably water weight.

Your really not going to find an accurate answer man depending on what you did when you had those 10 lbs. The amount of water you were intaking could have effected that? Did you use the same scale? Your eating habits have changed since then? Theres a number of things that could effect why your weight changed like that. I see your also starting the Ripptoes, just follow that you'll be back up there man. Goodluck.

Don't worry man.
What i do is I use the scale to my advantage. I step on it every morning, and look at my weight. I'm not happy about it, so i go straight to the kitchen and eat like a wild man, becasue i want to get to a weight I'm happy with.
So the next time you step on the scale, use it to your advantage. It works like a charm.
About the weight loss:
When you first weiged your self, did you weigh in the morning?
Because you said you weighed yourself in the morning hte last time, You're alwayse going to be lighter in the moring. I weigh 172 in the mornings, and by night, I weigh 177. It's weird. I'm not sure why it does this.
But good luck man. Just eat like a beast, and one day you'll become a beast.
