so yeah i'm prone to breakouts and whatnot, sucks. literelly i would just stay home and not go out because i had no confidence or whatever. read about dis here apple cider vinegar, went and tried the heinz version didnt do ****. so was at my local health store, and got the ORGANIC version, raw and unfiltered by Braggs. 1 week and holy ****! its cleared up. supposedly it does something to your PH levels or whatever. I take 2 swigs morning and 2 swigs before going to sleep. It taste like ****, but hey small tradeoff. It hasn't cleared up 100%, but its gotten to the point where its barely noticable.

i am 100% serious. Its also helped my back/arms too. it cost like 5 bucks and it will last you the month. you've got nothing to lose, try it. it might not be a full blown cure but my god it helps a lot.

haha no. its just that the whole year ive been looking in the mirror and going "i gotta get out of this week itll look better next week" and it never did. to be honest i got the heinz version first thats not organic and it really didnt work for me, and i was at my local health store getting some flax seeds and whatnot when i saw the braggs organic version. it doesnt have to be braggs, just organic. i mean i know how it feels to lose all confidence because of a couple of nasty zits and i really wish someone told me this earlier. so here i am spreading the wealth, and i really dont care about reps since im like -40,000

edit: you're supposed to take 2 tbspns morning and night, but i just take 2 swigs because im lazy. a swig = no more than a shot of liquor you would have at your regular bar

I think you should keep this thread updated. Because sometimes you clear up on your own for a short period, and it just so happens to coincide with a new skin care technique, but you break out again shortly after.

Anyway, no health food stores around here. Bummer.

yeah i know, i really hope not cuz this has been awesome for me. big mental boost.

and i still use some BP on my tzone cuz it still gets a little oily, but thats about it

Why, pray tell, would it being organic have anything to do with it's effectiveness? I'm sure if you did a chemical breakdown they'd be exactly the same molecularly (is that a word?).

Are you just drinking the ACV, or are you using it topically also?

i use an exoliater with sylic acid morning and night, and maybe some bp on my tzone. dont have any pics to be honest i always avoided them with my acne. i used to get the big cystic kind that would swell up for days. the past week if i got a red bump or two they'd be gone by mid afternoon the next day.

edit: im just drinking it. i dont apply it topically. and honestly i dont know but if it says organic than i guess its raw with nothign added to it. it taste different too. and i tried the other unorganic one it really didnt work that well.

I used to do apple cide vinegar treatment. I didn't drink that ****, I would just pour a little out onto a cotton ball and put it over my red acne marks. It worked, but I'm too lazy to keep up the routine. That dis here smells. OP is telling the truth about vinegar treatment though. Like the poster above me said, ppl have success w/ drinking it and/or applying it on skin.

just go to the acne forums and you can see its ****ing huge. just get accutane, I went on one course of that stuff. havent had a pimple in 4 months. you dont even need bad acne to get that stuff too, I had a little around my neck and forhead and still got it

yea I went there and saw that when my acne was breakin out... most of the stuff on that site was worthless for me and made things worse

I tried ACV for a little bit, did nothing but waste my time and it stunk

OP, either get accutane or learn how to treat your skin.. my acne started going away when I stoppd using all sorts of chemicals on my face and just kept it simple: cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for normal-oily skin, use it twice a day along with BP spot treatment if you need it at night.. give it a couple of months you'll thank yourself later

I'm going to give it a try, 2 tablespoons morning and night isn't that bad. I've always been a firm believer in that food, mainly sugar causes my acne. If I drink a can of soda, I'll literally breakout with huge cysts after a week. It's a guarantee, it's happened several times before. I just control my sugar level, and I rarely breakout anymore.
