Listen to me bitch about my roomate
One of my roomates pisses me off beyond belief. He's the biggest slob I've ever met. He'll steal my food, make a mess cooking it and not clean up after himself. Me and my other roomates will all be cleaning and he'll sit there playing video games, I've never seen him clean anything, not even the mess that he makes.
Everytime he takes something he asks me after he has already taken it. For instance I bought a 12-pack of beers and went to class. When I got home half of it was missing. He then told me that he stole a few beers. When I flip out on him he says **** like "Relax man, I'll buy a bunch for us later." But of course he never does.
Another things he does is leave the music blasting when nobodies home. Ill see him put a cd in, turn the volume up to full and then walk out the door 10 seconds later, as if he's trying to show off his horrible taste in music. One time I called him on it, as we were all leaving to get groceries together he put a cd in and cranked up the volume. I asked him why the f.uck he's blasting a cd when we are all on our way out the door and he says some **** like "Relax man, I'm gonna take it out when we leave." 1 minute later we left and he left his ****ty music blasting.
I remember a recent incident where I had just cleaned the kitchen spotless and mopped the floors. I go upstairs and come down 10 minutes later and its a huge mess and there's milk spilled on the floor and I see him drinking milk. I asked him if he spilled the milk and he says, "yah I'll clean it up later". He never did. He acts like he's a toddler and I am supposed to be his mommy who cleans up after him.
When he makes food he never cleans the pots afterwards. There were several incidents when we had to throw pots out because they grew mold.
Everytime we confront him about these issues he comes up with some excuse. I'm going to flip out soon. Anyone else have any roomate horror stories they would like to share?

get a few friends, fill some pillow cases full of soap bars or rocks or soda cans, and then sneak into his room while he is sleeping ,have your friends hold him down and then beat him with your pillow cases full metal jacket style.

beat his ass and THEN throw his fat lazy ass out! I have a brother-in-law stay with us and we had to get a lockable pantry to keep his ass out of our food. He was 18, weighed 265lbs, had a job at night(security, also played video games here) and only played video games during his time here. At night when me and my wife are sleeping he'd creep into the kitchen and ****ing raid it. I threatened to whoop his ass but the wife always kept me from it. He even would take baths WITHOUT soap. How nasty is this...? Never had a gf or sex...go figure!
I know where youre coming from bro. start taking his video games and system away from him when he doesnt do any chores and tell him that you wont give it back until he cleans up or forks over some cash for food and such.

My roommate the first semester i was in college was a preppie punk that was dating a 14 year old chick. He talked to her for hours at a time, all the time.
And he talked in his sleep constantly. It got to the point where I'd chuck baseballs at him when he started sleeptalking.

I know exactly how you feel bro. I don't have a roomate, but my family is a bunch of slobs. There are 7 people in my family, and not one of them clean. It's my mom, me, my sister, her husband and three kids. I am the only friggen person who cleans. My sister and her loser husband are the type of people who should never be parents. They use the fact that they work as an excuse not to clean the house. I would clean up the whole damn house by myself, and I would get no thank you, or anything, and a day or two later it will start getting filthy again, so I finally gave up. It's basically impossible for one person to clean up after 6 people every day. So the house is back to being filthy. I posted in another thread that it's hard to lose weight because they bring a bunch of junk food in the house, and then when I cook up clean food for the week, they eat the ****!
If I was in your situation I would tell him to either start helping and leave your food alone or get the hell out.

I have almost the same problem here too. The food thing is what pisses me off. My roomate will make his lunch in the morning before he goes to work. When I get up to make my pasta and eggs for the day there are chips and sticky **** all over the counter. I used to clean it up, but now it's gotten to a point where he thinks I'm his house maid and I will do all of the bitch work all of the time. Eventually, I have learned to stop picking up after his ass. It sucks for me, due to the fact that I like a neat and clean house. But hey, when he runs out of dishes to cook with, he eventually washes them. That or his punk-ass girlfriend comes over and does his dirty work.
Either way you cut it, I have learned I should have moved out on my own. Eventhough we have been good friends for over 10 years, he's beggining to get under my skin.

I finally bought a house and live by myself...but when I had roommates my biggest pet peeve was when one of my roommate would leave his dirty dishes in the sink for days...one day I got back to the apartment and the freaking dishes stunk...so I decided to put all the dishes and eating utensils on my roomie's bed....he got home...saw the dishes on his bed...I was watching tv with my other roomie...and he began washing the dishes...didn't say a word...never had a problem with him not washing the dishes ever again...

my roomate smells bad...and he watches ****ed up japanese cartoons late into the night, thus hampering my sleep. I can't complain though b/c I leave clothes strewn all over the floor and i KNOW he hates the smell of my tuna.

buy your own set of everything- i.e. plates, pans etc
keep them in a padlocked cupboard when you're not using them.
may have to do the same with some of your food.
drastic i know.
if he leaves anything around just throw it in his bedroom like someone said.
case closed.
