you answered your own question. pizza hut as im sure you aware of is pretty crappy. if you are going to eat the pizza just make it a cheat meal and do it rarely. as for toppings, i dont know what the chiken is you guys use...is it really chicken? if so chicken is good, then id use the ham. id load up with veggies: peppers, mushrooms, onions, and any other you guys put on pizza. cheese would be used to a bare minimum, if at all. and id stick with the thin crust. but i wouldnt eat it if i were you...although in another 2-3 weeks im going to go to the buffet so that ought to be fun!

you know it...this kid keeps on hounding me and i definately think after these last two cheats ive done he is overlooking me. i think i may push it back til the 9th so another friend can tag along but if i do that im seriously considering going totally clean til christmas and not cheating for thanksgiving at all. it just all depends on how i bounce back after the buffet/donuts from this weekend. gained 3lbs but with the lifting and cardio ive done i would think ill be fine in another day or so, three max...then its clean eating all the way til either the 2nd or 9th.

Sounds like a plan. I was thinking of doing the oats challenge on Thursday but Friday I have to go to the doctor for a checkup and their scale is probably much more accurate than mine so I want to be right on for Friday.. so I don't know if or when I'll try it.

if you really are wanting to do it, and i dont know if you are doing carb cycling anymore but its definately a day when you hit the gym but have nothing to do the rest of the day and really the next too. the pain is going to kill you and if that doesnt the bloat is going to be real bad. thats why i did mine and do all my cheating either friday or satuday. i would do the pizza hut similarly except they only do it during weekdays and i have classes at the time on friday that it happenes. so i figured id do it on a day when i lifet real heavy and then have nothing else to do the rest of the day.
oh and to want2bebig, i apologize for hijacking this thread. dont eat the pizza like i said...haha, there that kind of kills the guilt.

on my cheat day, or as a reward after an event, like a sprint trithlon, or like last weekend we did a 20k race as part of the warmup series for the houston marathon, I get a small veggie pizza with chicken, thin crust, half cheese... its actually very good plus without the majority of fat pizza normally comes with.... but I would never do that at night, or very often....

Thats horse ****. You can make your own pizza at home that is absurdly healthy for you. Grab a whole wheat pita, some tomato sauce, basil, oregano, onion, peppers, mushrooms and chicken.. it ends up being like 450 cals for one which is a little high for me for a meal (I like the 300cal mark) but its healthy and can satisfy that pizza craving nonetheless.

yeah id have to agree...while the pizza at pizza joints are **** for you, there is always ways to get around that and create a healthy version for yourself. you could probably make a crust out of oatmeal if you wanted, but there are always the whole wheat pitas/tortillas out there. load up on veggies, chicken, tuna, or another lean protein, fat free or low fat cheese, then either some walden farms sauce/dressing or tomato sauce and you have a solid meal. protein and complex carbs w/green veggies.

i am seriusly adicted to pizza hut, its the sole reason my cuttings take a month more than they sould, its like on my cheat days i HAVE to eat 3000kcals in pizza hut!
just one question though, on the normal crust (dont know what its called) not the thin and crispy nor the pan pizza, the intermidiate, it has a funky yelow-is crumbly kind of thing in the bottom tha looks like sand or something but its edible, what the hell is that and why they put it there?:P

Its an oil "food release" and corn meal, it keeps the crust from sticking to the pan, and im not sure what the cornmeal does......

Okay, I work at pizza hut too and sometimes I have these long 8-10 hour shifts where I can only make food, there and then, for me to eat. What type of pizza should I have, if I absolutely had to eat there. We also make hot wings. Are these any good?
By the way, I'm a skinny lil 16 year old 128 lb kid, so would these foods be good for me since I don't have to worry about gaining too much fat?

Hehe, I used to work at Pizza Hut long time ago (4 years i think).
Back then and now in my every meal contained 60-70% of salads/vegitables - most of the time I eat salads before anything else.
I used to eat pizza back then too when I worked over there and only thin crust because it doesnt have yeast and that oil they put in pan dough.
What I was making is:
Thin crust, pizza sause, cheese, onions, lots of bell pepers, pineapple (sometimes), chicken (sometimes), bacon (rarely) and green hot pepper.
Pretty much "Vegy lovers" without mushrooms (not a vegitable), olives.
As long as you eat more salads of your over all meal you will be fine.
Im 5'11'' and ~135 lbs
Dont drink any kinds of soda/soft drinks either or add "Sweet 'n low" - whatever name of that pink crap that uses instead of sugar.

I work for PH too, its mostly garbage. Try a thin with chicken/onion/peppers with extra sauce and light cheese.

There are far worse foods for you than pizza. Little Debbie Snack cakes for instance. At least the pizza has protein and phytochemicals from the veggies/sauce. Given, it's not even remotely close to good for you, but it's certainly better than a snack cake whose top 2 ingredients are sugar and trans fat.

haha, thanks for the lecture, i was just goofing around and i would hope people who are on this forum had enough common sense to realzie that snacky cakes are horrible for you, even if they were unaware of the transfat. i havent had one of those things in more than three years.
