Another Persons View (Side) On The Benoit Situation

Bill Apter was interviewed Saturday night by Kimberly Guilfoyle, the host of the Fox News Channel?s ?The Line Up.? Apter said he had known Nancy Benoit before she met Chris Benoit, and recalls her days as a wrestling manager called the Fallen Angel in Florida for Kevin Sullivan. Apter said Nancy was a person that everyone just loved. Apter said he had know Chris Benoit since the mid 80?s, and said he was quiet and gentle, and wonders if they will find a killer in this case. ?I can not believe that Chris Benoit was capable of doing this.? Apter brought up the fact that broadcasts have jumped to the conclusion of a double murder-suicide without examining the possibility of a triple murder. Apter said that when he hears that Benoit may have killed his son with a chokehold, the former Pro Wrestling Illustrated writer balked up, ?I don?t buy that for 10 seconds, I really don?t.? Apter said Benoit adored his son, and that he would exchange text messages with Benoit with his son Daniel.

He probably did meet Benoit early in his career as he would go everywhere taking photos of the shows and coverage in PWI and the other mags meant a lot back then, a pity Apter still has to think to kayfabe everybody even himself it seems in 2007.

If looking at facts and not pretending Benoit and his family were murdered by (delete as applicable depending on what day of the week it is or what conspiracy theory is flavour of the day) Corrupt Police Officers/Aliens/Vince/Wikipedia Vandal/Serial Killers/Kevin Sullivan makes me an idiot then so be it.

I have to simply agree with the official version of the murders. I know some people just don't want to believe Benoit could have done this, it just doesn't seem that far fetched to me. A domestic situation got out of hand, Benoit ended up killing his wife. This rage would only happen for a few minutes. Afterward, feeling hopeless, he decided to kill his son and himself. With no evidence of the contrary, it's probably a pretty simple case for investigators.

How many times have you seen family and friends of a murderer tell the media what a "good man" he was and there is no way he could have done this. In a big city practically every night.

Well said although I will have to disagee with the rage aspect- this was thought out well ahead of time, you don't exclude your current wife and child from your policy in the event you were to die which means he knew exactly what he was goign to do and then he concoted a fake reason to go home at the weekend.
