Scrap it and do a Starting Strength 3x5, texas method or Madcow/Bill Starr 5x5 workout. Work abs heavy and for endurance.

Use Olyimpic varients like powercleans and powersnatches, twisting movements, ATG squats, deadlifts, GHR's, palms facing close grip chins (recognise this movement??? Hint: clinch), and don't forget standing over head press and pushpresses.

If you want to gain athletic strength and power a basic 3 x week fullbody low volume strength routine can't be beat. Train movements not muscle groups.

Good link for fight training: www.rossboxing.com all his books are worth every cent, I own 4.

Thankyou for the great response and the link, some of the exercises i can't do though due to lack of Olympic bar at the gym which is an annoyance but the link really gave me some good advice.
