Waldenfarm's Condiments!
I recently checked out some Waldenfarm's condiments while i was getting my new Davinci syrup flavor (peanut butter, will try later tonight).
I was wondering which of their salad dressing or bbq sause taste bad or especially good. I came up with a list without stuff i don't like..such as food starch..anything FLOUR....
which one do you guys suggest?
BBQ Sause Original
BBQ Sause Thick and Spicy
Thousand Island
Italian
Ranch
Italian w/sundried tomatoes
Country Italian
Classic French.
Now i thought i saw 3 different flavors for BBQ..checked out the website..only showed 2. I think the third one is Hickory smoke or something.
Now about salad dressings..i never really tried anything except RANCH and Thousand Island...before i became "healthy eating". I was wondering how does French, Italian taste....
thanks.

All the BBQ ones are very good bro , one thing too look at is the sodium content that is one reason I avoid some of these, they are cal free but the sodium in a serving is more then in a can of tuna other then that they are very good

Yeah, I've been wanting to give one of these a shot for awhile, but have not based on their price. Anyone have any opinions to if the ranch is descent or not?

As my blood pressure is rediculously low to begin with and I don't worry about water retention, I have tried a number of Walden Farm products and I find them all to be delicious. I've tried Ranch, Italian, Oriental, and Country Italian dressing, Alfredo Scampi and Chocolate Sauces, and the Marshmellow dip. The Oriental is definitely my favorite amongst the dressings and the Chocolate Sauce and Marshmellow dips are amazing.

What does italian and country italian taste like? What's the difference?
I never tried anything but thousand island and ranch (the REAL stuff).
So i don't know what italian's flavor is like. Can you describe it?
Also ..did you try the BBQ sause?

I've heard the BBQ sauce is excellent, but I still have a whole bottle of Carb Options BBQ sauce that I love. Italian is kinda sweet/kinda vinegary dressing.....I dunno, I love it. The only difference between Italian and Country Italian is that Country Italian contains more tomato and is more full bodied in flavor.

The BBQ sauce is disapointing, carboptions is much better. I didnt like the ranch dressing, but the honey dijon and creamy bacon are good. I didnt like the pasta sauces. But the chocolate sauce and maple syrup are the bomb.

the marshmallow dip is amazing, truly, truly amazing, whenever i find it in the store i buy it all and whoard it. so good
the bbq sauces i have tried (honey and original) are both pretty good imo. my girlfriend doesnt like the honey one tho. but she also isnt that into the marshmallow dip, so she is obviously insane.
i've never been into sald dressingso i wouldnt want to try them
the alfredo sauce is pretty decent too. the scampi looks lke booger sauce or i'd try it cause i like scampi, but its pretty boogery looking, so havent pulled myeelf to by any yet
chocolate syrup is definatly good.

Thanks for your oppinions..but i think i'll avoid the bbq sause. Mainly because of MALTO DEX..or POLY DEX in their ingredients. Yes yes..i know...its 0cals...but ingredients is ingredients.and i'm very cautious about this kind of stuff. I'll go and pick up a bottle of RANCH dressing today..and try it out.

I mean..why do they need malto or dex in there if they already have SPLENDA?
I also avoid anything with the Word Starch, modified starch, flour.

I believe the content of malto and dex in powdered splenda is only used as a bulking agent, and if it's in the syrup it's in very low levels.

ive had the bacon ranch, bbq sauce, and chocolate sauce from walden farms. i think they are all pretty good, you can tell they are "fake" condiments compared to the real ones, but if you're looking to add some flavor and you have the cash to buy these, give 'em a shot.

Yes correct the malto and dex is a filler in the splenda packets and is not used in the syrup
