Ramadhan Man
u right im a muslim now thats a good thing
in September ramadhan is gonna start for 1 month im going to have to fass till 6;30
now that's a prob not because i cant hack hunger but because i only weighing 8 stones any advise all years training is going to go to waist
should i take lot of protein shake before i fast at 4;00 in morning

things like oats and cottage cheese, any kind of food that takes your body a long time to digest, so you will keep energy levels high long after yo uhave eaten them, nothing is gonna compare to being able to eat but this will help a lot more than eating simple carbs and whey protein

Because thats what you do during Ramadhan.....
If you're only weighing in the neighboorhood of 51 kilos you should just be eating everything in site man. At 16 and at this weight its apparent you're not eating enough. Look up some of the nutrition articles on here to figure out whats best but look at stuff in high protein etc.
As for the fasting during a month, as was said before try eating stuff thats slow digesting and pound down alot of food after the sun goes down

Honestly, i dont see much way around not eating for a 12Hr period ESPECIALLY during the day. You dont eat when you sleep and now youre not gonna be able to eat during the day as well.
Not to sound disrepectful, but the only way you can really get the gains you want is to eat/cheat during the day.

that's the funny thing i have 4 BIG MEALS a day even my friends question how much i eat
so why am i not putting on weight???
frustrated
i guess i have a fast mataboLism nothing going to change that
i havnt yet used any supplement any one got advise on any weight gain supplement or should i buy protein suplemant???

Well I'm pretty sure you could wake up in the middle of the night for some light food and a protein shake as long as you're allowed, have a sow digesting protein before bed and just before fasting for the day starts, and eat lots of food in the times when your not fasting. At least it will only be a month.

another problem whenu fast your stomach shrinks (i think)
so when u brake your fast u can hardly eats wierd all day u talk about eating 5meals at once when it comes to it u eat 1 and u full

I didn't get this at all. Especially the last part. In which way does fasting relate to America's abuse, torment, and oppression?
Also about all of the starving people, perhaps they shouldn't have made the choice to have a child so soon if they couldn't afford it, and you can't tell me every starving person in the world was raped either, the vast majority made that choice to breed. I feel no remorse for them.
I dunno, not dissing Islam or anything, I just get why anyone would starve themselves for any amount of time willfully. You need to pump that machine called your body full of food as constantly as possible.
But like some others said, just eat complex carbs and protein before you start the fast, and pig the **** out in the afternoons.

the only thing I could really recommend is like people said, try to begin the day before the bell tolls to begin the fast foods that will digest slowly over time if you are worried about loosing muscles by going catabolic and not have nutrients to digest and use.
my other tip would not be to workout for gains, but workout to maintain. so pull back enough to stimulate the muscles without overdoing it. then you wont need as much nutrients to repair the muscles because you wont doo as much damage to it. also, if possible, consider working out just before the end of the fast *I dont know if that is allowed, as I am not well versed on ramadhan and its practices and rules* then, when you do get to eat again, you will be able to provide nutrients to your body again.
Casien protein is good if you can get it. it is a slower digesting protein, which can take 2 hours to begin full digestion if I rember, and can last for 4-6 hours after that. this can help you get into the morning and afternoon while still providing your body with nutritents so you dont go catabolic.
I ususally take casien shakes before bed on the nights I worked out so I dont start breaking down muscle while I sleep.

change your lifestyle for the month. assuming you are still in HighSchool, and typically get 8 or 9 hours of sleep. Now these are just estimated times but mabye you can get out of school at 3pm, sleep until Midnight, go to school at 7, repeat.
This way will cut down your time of not being able to eat. Its sort of extreme, but its only a month and I guess it all depends how bad you want it.

You could try to switch yourself into a nocturnal lifting and eating schedule during Ramadan and sleep during the day. Though, I don't know your prayer schedule. You could always awaken for your prayers.

Im gonna be fasting too and from wha i hear fasta are gonna be 12 hours + !!!
Have loads of carbs for breakfast (which has to end at around 4am..thats when the fast starts). i usually eat eveything i can get my hands becasue it's hard as hell not eating or drinking for 12 hours (obiovusly). Feel sorry for all the people who starve in this world....

I don't think it would be allowed, I'm not sure about you but some of my friends in the younger years were allowed to skip sports day etc. because of the heat and the fact they couldn't drink water.

if i were you i would eat alot of
1. Cottage cheese, maybe about 1 tub or more beucase that is a long time to fast and cottage cheese is a slow digesting protien and that way it will last in the body for a while, i , personally love cottage cheese but if you dont like the taste try adding splenda, or eating it with fruit. eating this much cottage cheese will let your body feed off of it for a while becuase it is slow digesting and it is a good source of protien.
2. peanut Butter, anouter slow digesting protien and is anouther good source of protien, but make sure it natural because other peanut butters are high in sugar.
