Went to the city today to play some primitive rock n' roll, baby!!
Ok, I've been wanting to do this for awhile now. I took my acoustic guitar and a friend with a bongo out with me to New Orleans today. We set up shop on a corner of a busy street is Jackson Square, and when I mean opened and set up shop I mean we just sat there and played our basic instruments. I have to admit, this was one of the most fun things I have ever done in my life. I just played instrumental acoustic music and my friend played along with me, most of the time we improvised. At one point we had a huge crowd, and when we finished an improv ppl were asking us where the tip jar was. We told them we have no tip jar, we are not here for money. It was such a great freakin time!!!!
I'm really looking forward to bringing my show to California soon. I am currently planning a trip to visit, and if I like it I may move there. I can't wait!!!!
p.s. sorry, overexcited!!
p.p.s. I had my shirt off all day long, and one girl said "wow you must work out." i just smiled, played a chord and said it's all part of the illusion of love, baby!

I'm a huge fan of Zeppelin and The Doors and Pink Floyd and many others, but I have this thing for primitive rock accompanied by a primitive lifestyle. The idea seems oh so attractive to me.
