Ron Paul Excluded in Iowa
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...b-6fcbac672ca2
Quote:
Iowans for tax relief and Iowa Christian Alliance will host a presidential candidates forum on Saturday, June 30 in Des Moines. Republican candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo will participate.
Ron Paul, however, will not participate. Why? Because he wasn't invited.
We heard about this forum from numerous supporters in Iowa who asked why Dr. Paul was not going to participate. Those supporters assumed Ron Paul was invited.
The campaign office had not received an invitation so we called this morning; thinking we might have misplaced the invitation or simply overlooked it. Lew Moore, our campagin manager, called Mr. Edward Failor, an officer for Iowans for Tax Relief, to ask about it. Mr. Failor told us Dr. Paul was not invited: he was not going to be invited: and he would not be allowed to participate. And when asked why, Mr. Failor refused to explain. The call ended.
Lew then called Mr. Steve Scheeffler, president of the Iowa Christian Alliance, to talk with him. Mr. Scheffler did not answer so Lew left a message. He has yet to respond.

"Iowans for Tax Relief "
...excludes Ron Paul ---> That is comical. It is like a Pro Gun Control convention excluding Michael Bloomberg.
I smell "Iowans for Tax Relief" being a bull**** organization run by Freemasons.
...either we protect America through the political process and with the aid of our politicians, or we protect it without it and them.

It's obvious they are more concerned with their religious views then tax relief. They should change their name.

The funny thing is, Ron Paul is a Christian rofl, and he's a Christian that actually puts his faith into practice instead of running around calling himself a Christian while at the same time supporting imperialism and the patriot act.

McCain and Giuliani opted out of participating in the Iowa straw poll -- which is probably why they were excluded from this.

I hope this puts some fire in you guys... Join a Meetup group in your local area
Currently the group I am in are planning a city wide "Ron Paul Overnight" and this is going to be carried out in the early hours of July 4th, which basically we are going to put up a huge amount of signs and just try to get his name out there. This shouldn't be localized however, but should be nationwide.
Even though we are being censored, we can make this happen.
God Bless Ron Paul and America

Man, I'm tired of this shyte. If this country is so great and such a becon of democracy then why are people being left off ballots, debates....It really gets to me. This isnt a democracy anymore, this is just 2 party rule, another representation of how if you oppose the big guy you will get squashed.

Ron Paul Excluded in Iowa, pt. 2
Jan Mickelson of WHO News Radio 1040 in Des Moines interviewed Ron Paul 2008 chairman Kent Snyder about Ron Paul being excluded from the upcoming candidates forum sponsored by Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance. Ed Failor of Iowans for Tax Relief joined the interview later to explain why his group decided to keep Ron Paul out.
"Congressman Ron Paul isn't welcome at the Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance candidates forum. Oversight? Nope. Kent Snyder from Ron Paul's campaign and Ed Failor from ITR exchange words. Lotsa them." -- Wednesday, June 20, 2007, WHO News Radio 1040

WHO News Radio Exchange between Ed Failor & Kent Synder

Frankly, Kent Snyder's suspicions that Ed Failor wasn't being forthright with Ron Paul's campaign has been proven correct. Contrast the steady, controlled responses from Kent with the babble from Ed. To equate Ron Paul's (TX representative) record with the other minor candidates' position on tax relief is just comical. Also, Ed, I don't think those "nasty" supporters of Ron Paul will be on the podium with him. Sure, some supporters of ANY candidate are likely to get aggressive, especially when deceitful tactics are employed to exclude their candidate from open debate with his peers. Lastly, the rank and file of Iowans for Tax Relief should show Ed the door. Sorry, Ed, but you purchased the ticket yourself.
