Cottage Cheese And Pineapple
I just started eating cottage cheese and pineapple and OMG... This stuff is so good (coming from a girl who wouldn't touch the stuff this time last year). It's the highlight of my day. FREAKY!!!!
Does anyone have any really tasty ideas for other ways I can jazz up my life with cottage cheese? Thanks a bunch.

Cottage cheese and pineapples are the greatest! Use crushed pineapples and make your own, or get the Safeway brand. Any kind of fruit is good with CC, try strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

I may have to try that, although I'm concerned that pineapple is too high in sugar (even though it's natural fruit sugars). You guys should try canteloupe w/ cottage cheese when you get a chance :P

I like cottage cheese on WASA crackers. They are large and crunchy, and come in a lot of different types. Also high in fiber, esp. for a cracker.

Ice cream recipe!
100g cottage cheese
1 egg
28g whey
150ml water
Sweetener and flavour (try cocoa powder to start, you can experiment later)
1/2 tsp xanthan gum
Put everything except the gum into a blender and blitz for a couple of minutes.
Taste and adjust flavour and sweetness.
Slowly sprinkle on the xanthan gum, blend again until it thickens.
Pour into six ice-pop moulds and freeze.

Cover it in Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Oh man it's tasty, and the caloric contribution is negligible.

Normally I don't mix anything in with mine. I have mixed in whey before and the taste wasn't too bad. I have yet to try the pineapple and cc but maybe sometime this week.

That sounds really good -- I'll have to give that a try! *reps*
BTW, what kind of cottage cheese do you guys eat? I buy the 1% no salt added variety. There are about 360 calories per tub -- perfect size for one meal, and the sodium is very low.

CC + Natty PB + Honey
(you gotta mix the PB and honey before adding it to the CC)
as long as the pb wont go over my macro's, its my last meal of the day.
LOVE IT
Sometimes, I add in half a banana and/or granola, or half a scoop of whey.

Holy, I just looked up cottage cheese on calorieking.com, I need to try it out.... I'm pretty sure I really dislike it from what I can remember.
Is it a very filling food?
