Australians - what is the weather like in October? (generally)
A friend of mine (fool) is getting married on October 8th at Batemans Bay. I've timed my cut so it'll finish (and I'll be sub 10%) just before the wedding. My plan was to strut around on the beach wearing overly floral boardshorts...with girls that I've picked up at the wedding..and of course take many many pics for the misc.
But it dawned on me today...will it even be sunny? hot? Help me out guys. I'll still do my cut etc either way...it'd just be a bit disappointing if I can't live my dream...after all it is MY special day.........

Where abouts in Australia will you be?
If it's in Melbourne it's unpredictable.
If it's in Brisbane it's almost sunshine everyday here.
Sydney is so-so

I bloke at college lives i batemans bay. I could ask him...
It's where all the Canberra people go to the beach, and october is the start of the beach season. I imagine it would be awesome weather - not too hot. It's been a pretty wet winter so far, so chances are it could very well be a wet october too... at least that's how it works where my oldies live.
Go to the personals forum. the aussie thread is the second biggest there.

You have lived on this continent for 22 years and you still don't know? It's spring time so the weather will be springy - moderate. It could be raining, hailing or 35+ degree's no mother ****er can predict that.

Melbourne isn't unpredictable - if it rains in adelaide it will rain in melbourne the next day alot of the time. Sydney has been the unpredictable one since I've been living at uni.

Hmm sounds hopeful...I've never actually been there...in fact I've only been to the coast a few times in my life (pathetic given that I live in Australia)...cause of being all self conscious as far as lack of muscle and such...
Yeah this winter has been pretty nuts so far...especially in Sydney...so much rain...
Oh and I'm from Canberra...

Yeah I used to only work weekends...so I'd go in the middle of the day when noone was there....that was decent...but now with full time work I have to go around 7:00...worst possible time...
You should go out there and check it out some time...a friend of mine is a trainer there...big into powerlifting. They have a dedicated weights room with chalk bowls etc....as opposed to the bodyworks no chalk allowed rule....yay...
...has a supplement shop too...

Gotta remember that seasons are backwards (relatively, of course) to our seasons in the northern hemisphere.
So October would be like April to us.

Hmm maybe it's just a belconnen thing. They always have britney spears type stuff cranked...no chalk allowed...shoes on at all times...always have to ask people to move so you can do exercises...sucks...they recently jacked up the price too...
...and I'll be going there in half an hour! hah...ah well...at least it's leg day...

It will be the middle of spring... So it MAY be hot and sunny.... or it may be cold and cloudy. Its really a roll of the dice. I predict it will be 22-25 degrees in Batemans bay on the day u go in October.
