Make your own Creatine...
It states in the creatine answers topic that you should mix 50g whey protein and 50g dextrose, and it is equivelant to creatine. Where do I find 50g of dextrose, and how much is 50g of whey protein? I have vanilla whey protein from GNC (96 servings, 20g protein per serving).
Just wondering how to make my own creatine.

It doesn't say that.

Well if you want the most bang for your buck do not buy the creatine transports! These are enormously overpriced and you can make them yourself at half the price by buying your own dextrose online! A little tip... a mix of 50g whey protein and 50g dextrose has been shown to elicit the same insulin spike as a serving of Cell-Tech, and it is much cheaper I might add.
|
If this is the paragraph you are referring to, I think you are misunderstanding. This paragraph is telling you to not waste your money on creatine transport systems like Cell-Tech. They recommend you mix your bulk creatine with the mix of protein and dextrose, as that will spike your insulin, helping to deliver the creatine. They are not saying that protein/dextrose equals creatine.

hahahahahahaha
they are just saying that creatine transport product like cell tech (uses thing such as dextrose to transport creatine in the blood) are not worth it. you can get the same effect/insulin spike from using your creatine with dextrose, such as the dex from grape juice, or just straight dex. that will provide you with the sugars/carbs post workout that will aid the transport of creatine throughout your body without the expensive price tag of dat dere cell tech

even if it did, you said a serving of whey was 20 grams. Is it too difficult to figure out that 50 grams would be 2.5 servings?

Thank you to the very few people who were helpful. And **** you to the people that were *******s. I obviously misread the post and know nothing about creatine (the reason I asked). So I asked a question, thinking that people could be mature enough in answering my question. And again thank you to who did.
