So my wife crashes her car .... yet again
This is the third time is less then 6 months ....
The first time she was backing out of our garage and hit a parked car in our driveway. She says she wasn't going fast. How do you do that kind of damage going 20 feet in reverse slowly ? I think she floored it. She also said she forgot to look when she backed out of the garage. Huh how does one forget too look?
The accident was my fault of course because I forgot to pick up some sour cream or something at the grocery store so she had to get it and ...
Total Damage: 5,500 dollars to mine and the other car
Second accident (no pics) she was stopped at a red light with one car in front of her. Light turns green he goes ... she goes ... he stops ... she is to busy putting on makeup to notice and bam. The accident was my fault because I made her late and she had to put her makeup on in the car 
Total Damage: 1,200 dollars to mine and the other car
Third accident happen this weekend. I was actually in the car this time and I usually drive but I had a few beers and decided to let her drive. This one wasn't her fault the guy in the other car was passing us in the left lane and decides he wants to make a right turn directly in front of us . He didn't even finish passing us and he makes the right turn hitting the front drivers side of our car. This caused his car to spin in front of us like a T bone but we stopped just in time before hitting him in a side impact.
After the accident I got out of the car looked at the damage and swore a little bit. Look at the other driver and just kind of shock my head at him in disapproval ... nothing too serious. When the cops finally arrived we had over 10 eye witness that stayed to give a statement. The officer was completely shocked at the amount of people that stayed after the accident. Typically he said you are lucky if one person stays in a minor accident. The other driver told the cop that it was his fault and took complete responsibility for the accident. So because he said it was his fault the cop told all the witnesses to leave without even taking there name or anything. I didn't like the fact he was letting them all go without at least getting a name (does this seem weird to anyone else?). So I talked to a few of them to get their info. Anyway, as I'm talking to them they all tell me the same thing ... that the only reason they stayed is because they thought for sure I was going to kick the crap out of the other driver and they only stayed to watch the fight lol. So if you guys are ever in an accident and want witnesses act like your going to fight.
Total Damage: My car only 3,500
So later on I wanted to ruffle my wife's feathers a bit and I tell her. You know it figures that one of the few times I let you drive the car with me in it you get in an accident. If I was driving I?m sure I could have hit the brakes in time and avoided it (which is total BS no one could of avoided it). She pauses a second and tells me ? you do realize this is all your fault. She proceeds to explain that earlier she wanted to go visit so and so and I just wanted to go straight home so blaw blaw blaw ? I love how she can always twist things around and blame me.
So yesterday my wife invites a bunch of her friends over I decided to have a little fun on her for making me have to go to the to dam body shop so much. So I put this sign on the garage door for all her friends to see ... it didn't go over so well with her but I don't know I found it funny.

Or... You can actually have her take driving lessons again. I think that would be essential especially when she didn't look over her shoulder while backing out. Women have a tendency of looking at the rear-view mirror when backing out which is a bad idea.

seriously that sucks, i know your insurance must be sky high now. i know it would be a difficult situation because you cant really yell at her like she is a kid. glad im not in the same situation, i just cannot understnad how women can drive and be so oblivous to everything around them.

Damn that sucks. I'm giving you some pity reps. My car is in the shop getting her tranny rebuilt at a cost of $2,700. I'm renaming her (the car) Florida since the money that we were going to use for a family vacation at Discovery cove is being used for it instead. 
Word of advice guys, do not EVER buy an automatic VW.

haha man ive had 3 accident too, but not in 6 months, in a year. Only one of them was bad. I just really suck at driving, i dont understand why.

My insurance hasn't gone up yet. Allstate has a freebie accident option (which I'm glad I opt'd to take) for the first accident. I paid cash for the second  ... and the third wasn't her fault so it shouldn't go up ... I hope??

I know seemed kind of steep to me as well. It is hard to tell from the pic but both the side quarter panel and the hood are damage which up'd the cost.
