For a while I'd been reading posts, etc talking about how confidence is the key to getting girls, yada yada but I've just recently started believing it. Since April I've lost 30 lbs and I feel great and think I look fairly decent also. I've found it much easier to approach girls, make small talk and even get a few numbers. I have a question though: anyone have any lines to strike a convo that don't sound cheesy as hell? This is probably my biggest weakness.

Oh yeah - my friend is a stupid, stupid ass. Last weekend we decided to hit the beach for a few hours. As usual, there are many hot girls, most of whom don't give anyone the time of day. Anyhow, we end up playing beach volleyball with a girl who is decent looking ( 6.5/10) and her friend, who has a bleh face but a KILLER body. To make a long story short, my friend is mackin on the butterface big time. Here's his biggest problem: He always tries to make everyone laugh. He's sharing a towel with this girl when he feels the need to say out loud to the group, man Nicole )girl's name) that's the biggest camel toe I've ever seen. The girls end up leaving and we are stuck by ourselves.

lines are dumb. i have never used one. how about just saying hello? if a girl might be interested, she will give you a chance. if she isnt, then she wont. simple.
