Bob Chick-supplements/diet
Just curious, what's your supplementation regime like in the off-season? Diet? If this is alread answered, it would be great if someone can point me to that thread, I couldn't find it.
Peace
Nap's
P.S. It would be good if you can include dosages as well, i.e. you take a whey shake of 50 gms 3 times a day, etc. I guess at your bodyweight, off season you approach 5000 kcals and 400+ grams of protein, right?
Thanks

Bob will be back. Even tho there's the occasional jackass that trolls the forums, he knows there are sincere BB disciples here that appreciate his input.

Sorry for the delay... been bust getting a few of the boys ready to come aboard this forum fror a little while.
I take a multi-mineral in the a.m.
5g./ L-Glutamine in the late p.m. before bed
I use liquid egg whites from Egg whites international every morning for meal 1...
I've used many different types of protein powder to supp when in contest mode..usually 50g./ per shake...never more than 2 shakes per day ( I prefer to eat "real" food...)
To be honest, my protein intake goes UP for a show prep..it's much lower in the off season. My high is about 450-500 g./ day**
** If you are going to take in this amount, be sure to increase your water intake considerably!

Bob,
To maintain your size, I imagine your are constantly eating. Does this not become physically draining(it does for me)? I simply eat for the sake of eating and nutrition, nothing more; over time, I have noticed this to be exhausting.

This is the same way with me, and i'm only going to have to eat more and more as I get bigger. Sometimes eating is harder than working out. I'd like to hear Bob's experience with this also.

Eating is no doubt one of the toughest parts of the contest prep. It's the monotony of the schedule thats gets a little tiring..just part of the game.
Over time you get used to it, and what seemed tough to you at one time, all of a sudden isn't that tough anymore because you've gone to the next level.
One thing that will keep things a little more lively, is being creative in the kitchen. Don't be afraid to break up your normal daily routine of making things the EXACT same way. Grill it, boil it, bake it, fry it, etc. Use spices to give food a little life.

I don't mean to answer for Bob Chick, but on the first part I'd ask you to use your imagination and to research AAS a little bit. I don't know too many people who would like to have illegal drug use attached to their names by thier own public admittance...
