Sexual harassment : an offence that targets the ugly males of the population(Serious)

I just realized that the offence of sexual harassment indirectly targets the ugly males of the world. Think about it, how many times you heard of women complaining about some creepy man staring at her, yet the same woman is flattered and brags about it when a hunk is the one checking her out.

Another thing is for eg. I recalled one of my female friends making a huge outcry when some dude hugged her, yet she was giggling and all smiley face when some other random dude that she found attractive just walked up and pinched her ass saying she was so hot one day. I am sure you will find this is the case with other of your female friends too.

I AM NOT condoning sexual harassment, but say for example an ugly dude was friends of the dude who pinched my friend's ass for example, and in that case it worked for his friend. So he thinks he can get away with doing the same thing, but does it and gets slapped/charged/etc. Same with comments that females may find offensive, I am sure some would be offended by certain comments regardless of appearance, but generally the better looking dude can get away with more. Same goes for long stares from males, if the guy is good looking then she will be flattered (once again not all females), but if he is not then he is some creepy dude harassing her.

Fortunately for me I don't have to worry about whether I am good looking enough to get away with sexual harassment, nor would I want to engage in such primitive animal like mating calls, I just cut to the chase and use my handkerchief and handy bottle of chloroform...(yes joke only after serious response).

Yea, i agree with the OP. Sexual harrasment charges, and even law in general is all ****ed up these days.

But then again, this is old news. Its called natural selection lol. Guys are just as guilty of it as girls. Of course theyre going to treat guys differently depending on thier looks and social status. Its just natural instinct. Doesnt mean its right, thats just how it is.

This is why ugly guys need to make a bunch of money, get really popular, or learn how to spit some serious game if they wanna contend with guys who can get girls naturally.

Your thread title is misleading. I thought that ugly males were the victims of sexual harassments, not the other way around.

And in regards to your post...

So what? It's called laws of attraction and quite frankly, it works both ways. A male can feel disgusted or irritated if an ugly female hits on them yet get a raging boner when the HB9 rubs his nipples.

I kinda agree with you on the double standards of sexual harassment. Also the classic argument if a woman grabs a guys ass then it isn't sexual harassment (b/c most guys like the female attention) but if a guy does it to a girl then it is sexual harassment.

There's this one chick I used to work with at my last job that touched me and **** all the time and I didn't like it, eventually told her to stop but I'm sure I'd act different if she was attractive or I was attracted to her.

You are both correct.

But in an advanced democratic society like the one we live in today it shouldnt have to be like this. The attractive and physically superior (I know, this is a bodybuilding forum, sorry) should not be given any breaks. The law should not have to judge on how people act, personally i get angry when i see the dumb pretty blondes complaining about how some old man accidently touched their ass in the grocery line, like i mean **** sakes, shut up woman.

There is a lady I work with, quite an attractive woman, very sweet, avoids confrontations. ALL the time she has a certain couple of people who use racy talk with her. And she'll smile shyly or kinda laugh, a couple of times she's picked back at them. And then she'll tell me later how they make her feel so uncomfortable and how both men shouldn't talk that way to a married woman. But she still ALLOWS it. I finally told her that unless she planned on doing something about it to stop the harrassment (she has said it feels like she's being harrassed) then stop complaining about it. If it makes her so uncomfortable, then why the hell egg it on, or even tolerate it in the first place?

And for the record, I've gotten a couple of very good looking men fired for completely uncalled for behavior...it's not just the ugly ones. Disrespect is disrespect.

I am not complaining about the law, it is just something I never really thought of before.

As for males rejecting other females well you will find that the majority of males are willing to let such incidents slide rather than press charges etc. Whereas it's not the same the other way around.

you said it was a joke, but when I felt my ugliest...about 50 lbs fatter...i had the nasties saying things to me that made me feel like a cheap whore that was about 2 inches tall. So, yeah, uglies don't like harrassment either. It just makes us feel worse.

The question, because it is so stupid. Ive had this thread conversation w/ co-workers before and eventually someone tried convincing us that ugly chicks liked to get sexually harassed because it made thhem feel better

No offense or anything, but i think sexual harassment is a ridiculous reason to make someone lose thier job.

If they were bothering you, why didnt you just tell them to **** off and threaten to get them in trouble, instead of actually getting them fired?

It is stated plainly and clearly when you come to work for our company, we have a no tolerance policy on harrassment of any kind, and there have been a couple of incidents where harrassment went too far and someone got hurt. I told these men that they needed to stop touching me and speaking to me the way they were, or else I would report them and they would be fired. I told them this twice. Still they persisted. If you have no more concern for your job than to listen after you have been told twice to leave me the **** alone, you are not intelligent enough to keep your job.

I have a low tolerance for these people who cross boundaries like that. My space was severely violated when I was younger, so my patience is even more thin in this aspect. These men were also known drug abusers, and the younger of the two actually was arrested a month later for assisting in a murder. For drug money.

That is so true. I've always thought that, but never bothered mentioning it to anyone because they'd just argue about it.

When a girl loves it, she doesn't do anything about it. But when it's someone she doesn't find attractive, they go into the creepy category. Then hide behind the law and press charges on them.

I feel like it's even happened to me a few times. And I wouldn't consider myself ugly either.

Well i agree with ur decision then. I think a guy should deserve to get a warning, because theres sometimes a fine line between flirting and sexually harassing someone.

Actually I am fearful of aggressive hot girls cuz I think there is always a catch.. herpes anyone? That's just me though.

But yes I would rather get attention from a hottie than some ugly woman, but if if either were to grab my ass I would be flattered or disguted depending on who did it, and I would not snitch on them too for sexual harassment.

I agree, and I've seen live examples of what you're saying.. When I was in the Air Force, we had an office on base called Social Actions (any current USAF members who can tell me if it still exists?). A guy could make lewd comments to a girl in the dorm and she might laugh it off or make a witty remark back. Then a different guy could say something along the same lines (or even the original guy on a different day) and then it was, "Wah! Wah! I'm reporting you to Social Actions!"

It's like how a lot of women will dress seductively to get male attention, but what they really want is selective male attention. If a guy they don't find attractive even so much as looks at them, then it's "sexual harassment."
