Girls and their exes

Want to ruin a date if you're a girl? Talk about your ex-boyfriends incessantly. That will do the job. Un-fukcing-believable.

So, I go out with this girl on Thursday. I've been seeing her for about a month and everything seems to be going well. I assume she likes me enough to drive the thirty some-odd miles from her place to mine, and she does (prefers to). So we go somewhere to eat and bull**** a little, when the first dreaded ex-boyfriend is brought up. If the story is true, then the girl is obviously fukced in the head for staying with a guy that beat the **** out of her. I politely tell her to leave the ex-stories out of the conversation and she gets a surprised look on her face, then gets all quiet. That's right, she actually looked surprised that I didn't want to hear this bull****.

Do you girls actually think that talking about your exes will somehow make you look more desirable, or even interesting? You're on a date with a new guy and you're talking about some guy who used to fukc you. To me, that's competition and it's not worth it.

So, for ****'s sake, try to think twice before bringing up your former playtoy.

I can see why these stories mess up your dates but look at the bright side, at least she's telling you bad stuff about her ex's. It'd be far more worse if she'd rant about how wonderful they were. Where's the competition in someone who beats up girls?
Show some empathy, tell her you wont beat her, ever.

I might be able to top that actually. Just this last weekend I banged this girl who was down from the jump(she asked for my number) so we hung out and I hit it, then my cell phone rang that night from HER number. I'm like, uh it's for you. Apparently her ex broke her bedroom window when he found out she was with some other guy (me). Haha drama. I'm gonna hit it again tomorrow.

Any good clubs in Antwerp? I went there and couldn't find ANYTHING to do.. then again, i didn't know anyone there and I couldn't speak the language.

Oh, it actually went pretty well. She apologized for making me uncomfortable, which was cool. So, we just end up making out next to her car for awhile. She's already called me twice, today, just to bull****.

she started talking about being beat and raped and **** like that, I just left her at the restaurant

i agree with the OP, i think some girls just dont have a clue and think its ok.

I went over to a girls dorm at 3am the other day as i was bored, she wanted to watch the chickflick "dirty dancing", i figured i owed her as i made her watch 28 weeks later with me previously [very violent]. At one point she comes out with "my ex boyfriend refused to watch all of this when i made him watch it, so his mom came and watched it with me". Way to kill the mood! i passed out soon after

I had a few girls who did that, talk about their ex.

The first time, I just said, "Look, that is fine and all I but I don't give a ****."

The second time, I ended the date right there. I said, "Girl, if I wanted to hear about your ex, I'd ask him out instead."

The third and subsequent times, going off of that theme, I just played along. I would try to make friends with the ex. One guy was pretty decent and I told her, "Hey, no wonder why you were talking about him constantly."

Most girls when talking about their exes are making **** up. At the very least, they are ****ed in the head. I can understand saying something like, "Oh, my ex used to like them." when the conversation was about a band. If a girl goes up and voluntarily submits the fact that she was beaten by her ex, a few things pop into my mind:

1) She probably wasn't beaten at all
2) She is just trying to angle sympathy. Why does a girl need to rely on sympathy?
3) She is ****ed up. Should I leave or just play along?

Because it's nice to have an emotional pillow you get from a relationship and such without actually having to do the work that comes with a relationship.
