Does creatine monohydrate decay in water?

The makers of Kre-Alk have this chart on their website where it looks like creatine turns into creatinine within seconds. But I listened to Dan Gastelu today and according to him it doesn't happen within seconds or even minutes. Does this mean that the Kre-Alk guys are lying?

Yes. It does, very slowly. Even 1 day in water doesnt matter TOO much.

I wouldn't leave it in water for to long but I think it takes longer than a few seconds for it to turn

lol, even if it does, it still works. I will be judging between ethyl ester and plain old mono within a few weeks though. Mono allowed me to add about 5lbs to my bench per week, I'm gonna test the Ethyl Ester and see if it can do the same.

Remember that "Creatine Serum" stuff that was hugely popular about five years ago? I guess it turned out to be a huge scam because I don't even think they sell it anymore. Every time I think about stuff like that, it makes be wonder about these "special" forms of nutrients.

Yup, it decays, but decays much faster in an acidic solution (like orange juice)

Creatine, like just about everything begins decaying almost imediately. However, from my experience and what I've heard, as long as you don't let it sit in any liquid for hours on end it is just fine. Could be different for CEE or Kre-Alk, but I don't think they would be so horribly different from Mono. Hope this helps.

From what Gastelu said there's really nothing magic about Kre-Alk. He said you can also simply try adding baking soda to your creatine and see if changes something.
