To rent an apartment with friends or continue living in dormitory?
My friends want to rent an apartment but I'm thinking whether I should or not.
Residence;
Pros
- More people to socialize with
- Right next to school
Cons;
-Small Crappy Room
-Kinda in the middle of no where
-Nothing much to do around
Apartment;
Pros;
-Nice Apartment with same rent cost as dorm
-Close to downtown. (more things to do)
-Next to bus and metro
-Has swimming pool
Cons;
-Not a lot of fellow college students to socialise with. May get boring and lonely.
-May have to travel to get to gym
-Transportation Cost
-Utlities Cost
-Have to take bus to school (20 minutes away)

Do you consider yourself pretty mature? If so, I would suggest living in an apartment. That dorm **** gets old REALLY quick.

apartment, ive enjoyed living in an apartment with my boys. If you get bored then call the friends and tell them to come over. The bus isnt a big deal, i did that every day the last two semesters. Its actually kind of nice.
edit: but then agian i prefer to have my space and alone time sometimes

Yes I consider quite mature. But the thing about living in dorm is when a new semester starts you get a wave of freshmen sluts coming in.

Yeah and then all those "freshman sluts" look at you as the creepy guy who lives in the dorms forever aka lifetime dormer. Get an apt or a house if you can.
