knowledgable advice on starr/pendlays 5x5 enquire within...

I have one week left before I finished my first 'goround' of starr/pendlay 5x5. I've mad great gains in my lifts and am looking forward to getting back at it. Before that happens I want to do a 3-4 week program that will lighten up the weight and increase the reps to 8-12 so that I can recover from the heavy poundage before transitioning back into a second round of starr/pendlays 5x5. So, can someone recommend a program that would follow suit to what I've said, thanks!

*FYI - gains made from first blast of advanced 5x5
Front Squat
was 265 x 5.... now 365 x 3
Bench
was 245 x 5... now 315 x 3
Hang Clean
was 260 x 5... now 335 x 3

Ya i guess you're right, I will probably just take my new numbers and start a new cycle of the program. Basically its my last summer to train before my final football season of my life so I'm trying to make sure I'm doing all I can as far as my lifting program goes.

HST would definately give you the hypertrophy for a couple weeks and then you could switch back to 5x5...

but like said above...why fix whats not broke...

Doesn't meet your 8-10 rep standard sort of but it's a new 4 week program. It's called the 30 day mass plan. Apparently an inch on your bicep at the end of the month:

It's from Chad Waterbury. So I don't know. I trust this guy. It's something that covers up what you're looking for but it's working out.. a lot. You can give it a try.
