I've finally gained some serious ground with the chick I've been dating now for over two months. I've made several threads about this girl...namely about all the issues she has and all the **** I've had to dig through. But now, I think my work is beginning to pay off.

Two huge issues I've had to deal with:

- Her not being completely over her 3 year relationship which ended over a year ago. She has trouble deciding to move on, accept change and date someone new (namely ME) versus going back to the abusive cycle with her ex.

- Her spooning with her friend Jake who she has known for over 5 years. He's her cuddle buddy, but a number one threat in my book.

So, this weekend I went to her place with the goal of addressing both issues and coming out victorious. I had my game face on and went in there and tore **** up.

First, I put my foot down about her cuddle buddy. She apologized, explained what happened and assured me it would never happen again. Awesome.

Now, here's the best part...

I took her out to this great sushi place in the city and had the valet park my Bimmer while we sat by the coy fish pond. I chatted her up over dinner and dug deep. I learned more about her in that hour than all the pillow talk we've had combined.

My buddy called me after dinner and asked us to meet him at the bars. At first I didn't want to, but on second thought it was a perfect time to assert my control.

So we get to the bar, and after a few drinks, sure enough some girl comes up to me and chats me up. I could tell she was hitting on me because she puts her arm around me and gets real close, asking me my name, etc. Meanwhile, my chick was coming out of the bathroom and I could see her from the corner of my eye. I ignored her and got real close to the other girl knowing it'd make my girl jealous. Sure enough, she comes right over and puts her arm around me and gives the other girl a stare. I leave the chick to my friend and go dance with my girl.

While dancing, we see this douchebag night at the roxbury ******* pretend-glow-stick raving on the floor so my buddy gives me 5 bucks to go grind with him and screw with him a bit. So I go out there, bust out some freaky **** and get the whole dance floor making a circle around us. People are really digging what I'm doing and I make the guy look like a fool and we walks away. This impressed my girl alot and gets her laughing and she sees me more as "alpha", "fun" and "dominant". Awesome.

But, it gets better.

So, up until now, she hasn't wanted to have sex with me but lo and behold, last night she asks me when we are gonna have sex, and tells me that she has a good feeling about it. She tells me that she thinks I'm so fun, confident and understanding and makes her feel good when she's around me. She says that I'm addictive and that she needs to know when to cut off time with me otherwise she loses track of time and forgets to do her own things, etc.

All in all, perfect weekend. Since my other thread, the tides are turning in my favor.

Basically, playing it cool, acting like things don't care really works. This weekend I made it clear that I don't need her. That girl hitting on me did wonders. A little jealousy goes a long way. ****ing with that wierd dude dancing also showed her that I'm the ****ing life of any party. Seriously though, some of the alpha male stuff might be bull, but the general stuff works. Confidence and humor...that's all you need.

Not really. It was just one of those things you do to make a fool out of yourself but completely throw the other person off. The kid was dancing like a douche so I went up there and did some Lawnmower ****, or picking groceries off the shelf, 70's ****, etc. It gets the crowd going and the girls like it.
